Texas Station RV Park — Local services in Gatesville

Gatesville is not a destination RV.....mostly pass thru's of long term residence- park. Texas Station provides secure, clean sites for almost any size RV....40' is about the max, a few coverd sites, mostly back-ins. Good afternoon shade. View?????......mostly coverd storage barns. Minimal amenities....wahroom with shower and laundry room. Traffic nearby on TX-36, no trains or airplanes. Special effects provided occasionally by Machinegun, canon and bombs from nearby North Ft Hood.

We gave stayed for 30+ days at a time with no real issues.

The Texas Station folks are great, personable and willing to bend over backwards to make your stay pleasurable. Rates are very reasonable. Nice altrrnative to nearby BigBox parking lot without the commotion. Would gove it another star if they had grasd and a pool. Not fancy but good bargin for the night or short term. Food.......El Tapitio on West US84 hard to beat TexMex cooking......reasonable and hi quality food choices. The Mill is Texas hone-style cooking.....Jalepeno Burger on sourdougj great. ...

The Smith family go out of their way to help make your stay as pleasant as possible . Because of 'the unexpected' we've had to stay here since Valentine's Day. We even had to change to a covered lot and did so without skipping a beat. Walmart,Walgreens, HEB, propane, fast food, building supplies are all nearby. Also, several restaurants, auto dealerships AND the LAST DRIVE-IN PICTURE SHOW & CINEMA are open for business. Lake Belton and several CoE parks are a quick drive away. Great place to walk and meet new friends. Also, a great food truck right...

We held our wedding and reception at texas stations event center. Everything was perfect! Owners are attentive and helpful, they check in and make sure you have what you need. The venue is incredible and beautiful for weddings and other events. All our guests were talking about how great it was!
