Gorgeous for an Air BNB but Brides beware! This is NOT a wedding venue, even though they advertise being one. They missed the mark by miles. They are trying to be a very very high end wedding destination without knowing anything about the wedding business.

The prices match an experienced venue for 50-150 people with standard included items like chairs, tables and required amenities. However they are 100% a bare bones Air BNB elopement location. Most photos on the site are not in areas that you can take photos or even access with the pricing advertised. Chairs, tables, dressing rooms, absolutely nothing is provided.

Also, do not expect your appointment to be kept, return calls, assistance with questions or anything like that calling the office. Katie refused to respond multiple times and was extremely rude on the phone then when we arrived. They had to argue over who could show us around during our scheduled appointment time then made condescending comments about how we weren’t in their system. 2 of us called. 2 spoke to her and same result! Then spent the next hour being shown luxury rentals when we explicitly asked multiple times to see the ceremony sites first. It was important having a physical disability we see the most important first but the “timeshare sales” (that was his vibe) guy we got was too busy pushing his significant others wedding coordinator business and a luxury inclusive wedding package (60-70k) we weren’t...

Upon arrival, the cabin we rented at Treehouse Grove in Norton Creek Resortfor seven days had severe urine stains on the mattress cover and the mattress. We informed the company by text that were were immediately vacating the premises. We checked into a hotel. The next day the company replied as follows:

There was a stained bedbug encasement that had not been removed and replaced, and a missing mattress protector. These are clear oversights on our part, and we’re taking corrective steps with our team to ensure this does not happen again.

They did not replace the mattress and expect us to return for the next six days and sleep on the urine filled mattress. There is no onsite management, maintenance, nor housekeeping. Make sure you take lots of photos and videos...

We stayed at the Moosewood Sept 2024. No problems. Very comfortable beds (I like mine soft). Internet worked great. We would like to go back but we paid $1,414.00 for 5 nights. The exact same 5 nights 1 year from now would be over 3k. More than double what we paid. Thus the 4 stars. We highly recommend this real nice little cabin if you have money to burn...
