The Talking Turkey was absolutely STUNNING! We asked a local business to point us in the direction of glass shops & when they first mentioned the words “Talking Turkey” I had no idea what to expect. Nonetheless, we trekked on and decided to give it a go. I am beyond happy that we did! Not only is it actually a glass shop, it’s truly the best I’ve seen in Gatlinburg during our trip. They have such a large selection and something for everyone. We decided on a beautiful piece by Kitras Art Glass & know it’s the perfect addition to our home. Wow. What a treasure John and his wife are. John is so knowledgeable about stained glass and its history. My wife and i spent probably an hour in the shop. She is extremely happy with her purchase. Nice to do for stained glass, they have both a display gallery and a workshop you can look at it to see how they do the work. A large variety of designs and very willing to explain how the Artistry is done. They do take custom commissioner, and some of the current commissions are quite extravagant.
