We purchased a SUV at NADA value, and spent a Saturday with them. The process started out not nice, we were shown SUVs, and Trucks we did not want, had our credit score announced in the show room, and kept from leaving as they were determined to make a sale - reason for not a 5 star rating. The customer service, the service bay area, and the Service Manager is what is impressive as the SUV has several issues, and they are fixing with an agreed no charge. Although they are higher in price, you do not mind paying a little more for great customer service. Disappointment as the Dealership/Jason does not follow up on date given for a phone call, returning phone calls is important for customer service. Typical use car salesman, say they are going to do some thing, and do not follow through, and say they do a safety inspection, and have two remotes, and do not. Had SUV for 4 days to work, and did not complete work, and or return phone calls as promised, and now waiting to hear back.

And, salesman was the quintessential "used car salesman"!! I had a buddy call in about our trade-in, as like most of the vehicles on their website, it had "call for price". When my buddy first called them, the salesman (who was the one we dealt with), said "I don't know anything about this vehicle, but I'll get back to you". Well, when he called my buddy back, NOW all of the sudden, he knew EVERYTHING about the vehicle we traded in, even telling my buddy that he "drove it home" the previous night, and it drove great! When we were there later, to pick it up AFTER we HAD to bring it back, and have them fix a bunch of stuff that was broke, even after their "160 point vehicle inspection", I asked the salesman how our trade in drove, and he said that he didn't drive it! Well, I told him that my buddy said you did, and of course, he denied saying that, and said that the service manager drove it, and my buddy misunderstood him. And, of course, he also said that he knew that he was a friend of mine, because he "just knew", with his experience, but yet if you asked him a question that was too hard for him to answer, his excuse was "I haven't been doing this very long"!! And, when I brought up the price he gave my buddy for my trade in, that was like 2 grand MORE than book, he said "well, look at the price we were advertising the vehicle you bought" (which, at first they said "was a misprint", even though it was on their website). AND, he actually had the gaul to ask me TWICE if my buddy was actually interested in my trade in!! LOL!

So, it just goes to show that this dealership IS the quintessential example of the "used car salesman", and the very reason why people hate going to dealerships, and another reason why you shouldn't believe ANYTHING that comes out of salespeoples mouths, as more than likely most of it is made...

Three years ago I left a scathing review after my purchase of a new Corvette. I had zero history with the dealership and didn't even know Genoa even existed at that time. After calling every dealer in the midwest they just happened to be getting a Corvette in that I was interested in. Yes they were one of a few dealerships that added $20k extra calling it "market adjustment" that wasn't the issue the issue I had was me setting the bar too high and my expectations were a just as high as I thought they would help me get the extra carbon fiber pieces offered by GM. That is where they left me high and dry. I'm a car guy and my business was just getting started and I needed some help via GM. I even mentioned i was going to spend a lot of money on this car. Promises made but nothing. So it was at that time I realized that this company wasn't interested in building a relationship. Well I worked to find out where and how to get GM carbon fiber C8 Corvette pieces and hooked up with the supplier for GM and now have become good friends and I was able to get every possible piece for that C8 Stingray. Cost was about $35K retail so the dealership lost out on some huge parts sales big time. Like that scene in Pretty Woman...you work on commission right? Big mistake, Big!

Anyway that is water under the bridge, my business has skyrocketed and I have found a new partnership that has come through for me and wants to work with me and build on that relationship. I sold that Stingray and now have a Z06, an E-Ray and my ZR1 will be in at the end of this month.

All I wanted was a dealer to share my enthusiasm for the Corvette and go that extra mile. I didn't think that was asking too much, just be more supportive with your customers especially ones who are willing to spend a lot of money on their car(s).

The main reason I'm writing this now is I reached out a few weeks ago and let the Finance Manager know I sold my Stingray and cancelled the extra warranty and that the check will come to them and they in-turn will send one out to me. I was assured it would be done. I received the check yesterday and I want to thank the Alan Browne Team for the quick turnaround. They are true to their word and I respect them for that. It was never personal just business.

Wish them all the...

Bought a 2014 Chevy Silverado with 18,000 miles on it from Alan Browne Chevrolet with a bumper to bumper warranty in March 2017 when I was there to purchase the vehicle they were great people to deal with it seemed to be told me everything I wanted to hear .I wasn’t going to purchase any kind of warranty but when the lady sold me on it she told me it was bumper-to-bumper it covered everything Including tires and rims, So fast forward to a year later the rims are peeling and they will not take care of it because their aftermarket rims and the warranty does not take care of that second thing is I just took my Truck to Raymond Chevrolet to have them look at a seat that the stitching is pulling apart and is ripping and that is not warranty it either so both times that I went to go use my bumper to bumper warranty that costed me almost 3 grand I cannot use they lied to me and what I could use it for and that it covered everything and then they would not take care of The problem is I address.I will never purchase another vehicle from them and make sure that none of my family or friends purchase any vehicles from them and I’m going to report them to the business bureau. Do not purchase from them !!!!!! They lie on how the Warrantee really works it’s the first time I’ve ever purchased the extended warrantee and I feel like I’ve just wasted a...
