1 Star is way to much to give this place, I went this afternoon and bought a few items, I asked the girl working there for a pound of Virginia Ham she went to the back which they have a window you can see what they are doing and I noticed that she had a huge stack of ham on the scale. I was thinking to myself wow is that a pound then I saw her again wrapping the meat up and the stack was much smaller I really didn't think to much about it I just thought maybe she cut up extra since they do sell sandwiches. I have been shopping here for years and would have never expected for one of the workers to steal from me. Right up in my face she weighed out 1.34 LB charged me $4.59 per LB which cost $6.17 then she removed the extra meat I got 1.03 LB at $5.99 LB for $6.17 the price for the Ham to begin with was only $4.29 LB!!!! She also charged me $3.19 a LB for a tomato and I bought a pound of bacon the scale came out to be 1.09 LB @ $5.99 per pound she charged me for 1.12 LBS of bacon @ $5.99!!! I am sure she has done this to more people than just me, I guess this is how this place runs there business now, stealing from people. I will make sure I let my family know how they do business now and to stay away from here we have all been shopping here for...

I don’t write reviews but felt I have to warn my fellow hunters about this place. Stay away from this placed for deer processing.

I had 4 deer processed here last year. Order 3 types of sausage which they’re supposed to mix in 50% pork fat. The sausage maybe had 10% percent pork and there’s not much seasoning. You couldn’t tell the bratwurst from the Italian or the breakfast sausage. All were the driest least favored sausage I’ve ever eaten. They didn’t seal the jerky so most of it molded within two weeks. They say the tenderize the back straps but didn’t see any evidence they were put through any tenderizing machine.

Worst deer processing. Ruined $300+ worth of sausage. Very dry and mealy. Their order processing seemed straight forward, but after making a change they got very mixed up and what I was expecting to be around $200 order turned into almost $400. I asked how the cuts were going to be processed and what was delivered was not what was stated. If you want deer steaks you will not be getting any back straps at all. Also any weights they state are going to be under. The vacuum sealed items were also hit or miss, some were nicely sealed, others not so much such as the jerky, which of all things was actually good.
