I requested online classes, got put in an in person class that I didn't know was in person until I sent a weeks worth of work to get a 0. My instructor informed me of the in person requirement. I reach out to my academic advisor who appologized and I had to cancel my class. All great... but doesn't matter if you cancel on time to them. I guess. You'll get sent to collections without a notice from the school that you had a bill, that you should have not received in the first place, for them messing up. I’ve continuously been let down by staff not wanting to help me. I feel like when I need help it is as if I am talking to a brick wall. 90% of the staff here do the bare minimum for students and it’s highly disappointing. I’ve been calling for over a month about an issue with no response nor progression on my problem. There’s only been two staff members who’ve genuinely tried to help me to the best the best of their ability. I’m a patient person but this is ridiculous. I graduated from here with honors. It’s possible to do. I got everything that I asked for and while it is true that some advisors were more compassionate than others, I still managed to get it done. My online needs were met as I worked two jobs and attended 19 credit hours over spring of 2024. I’ve since moved on, but will never forget the wonderful staff and how they all went above and beyond.
