The Warehouse Sale In Girard — Local services in Girard

I actually found this store thru FB market back in March of 2019. I’m so glad I was smart enough to screen shot the add. I do not live in PA. I currently actually live about an hour & a half away in NY. I took the chance last weekend & loaded up my 15, 11, year & 4 month & 4 month old for the ride. We really enjoyed our visit. We bought everything from snacks, drinks, canned foods, spices, bacon, cheese, baby items & an amazingly cute & effective little whale light up bug zapper. Needless to say I got my whole $90.00 worth & will be headed back your way tomorrow. The staff were very helpful & kind as well. The whole experience just made you feel welcomed & homey. If you're a frugal person you may like this store. They sell all sorts of items from clothes to toys to housewares, even furniture and food. Keep an eyes out for expiration dates and you may well find some good deals. However, if you aren't careful you might end up overpaying for some things. Also keep in mind that this store sells mostly reclaimed items from stores, some of the toys seem to be from returns resulting in missing pieces and heavily taped boxes, some of the grocery items are from tipped pallets which cause crushed and deformed boxes and cans and other items that are near or at their expiration date. Depending on your taste and expectation will dictate your fondness for this place. If you a are a hard core bargain hunter then this is your scene. Large selection of sundry items and some very good deals if you take your time and look. However if your tastes are more toward the polished, organized store experience then this is not your gig. It literally is a Wharehouse with a flea market approach to presentation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection was ecletic with some things being a bargain and others not so much.
