We have two Yukon Denalis. One is a 2014 and a new 2016. Payments through the roof.. We used to take both into Mquillen for service. Every service appointment resulted in another. 1. Passenger outside front handle fell off door. Mquillien called to replace it. the door worked for one day and then the inside panel popped out. Brought it back. pins replaced again. two days later, the panel popped off again. In the mean time... They changed out the tires of our BRAND new truck after the snow cleared, but it was raining the day of the change. Instead of putting the new tires back into the truck(the box truck we had) the technicians took the tires (22 inch) and forced them into the back of the truck unwrapped. I spoke with Dan and he apologized, but we still had a broken door to contend with. After a busy summer (we own a business) of the 2014 going to the store with a broken door and not being able to use the front passenger door, I finally contacted the GMC body shop in Erie 12th st., as the technicians are clearly not able to handle the repair. We are 7 days in the summer and Dan was aware of the door situation. Last Friday it was taken in. The manager indicated that the Mcquillen technicians broke an inside metal piece that could only have been broken when replacing the handle. I immediately contacted the service department and they spoke with the manager at 12th street. I then left a message for Dan..without a call back...Finally today I called again, and DAN ACCUSED THE 12th STREET LOCATION OF BREAKING IT!! THEY NEVER EVEN REPAIRED THE HANDLE????? Dan then said he never wants to speak to me again... As a business owner. IT IS A DISGRACE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY AS I PAY 1800 a month for two 85,000 cars? I WILL MAKE SURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANY...
Read moreWarranty fraud? Purchased a warranty for paint and dent, was never told a coating was to be applied to our new 2023 Equinox. Sold the vehicle one year later and requested the refund on the remainder of the warranty. Was told because this treatment was applied to the vehicle they can't refund anything. When the New Cars Manager was told and checked to find out it wasn't applied he offered to apply it to our New Vehicle we purchased somewhere else but could not refund even though this was something we didn't receive as they turned in the paperwork saying we did receive it. Wouldn't this be fraud? Spoke to the owner and explained this. He rudely refused to do anything about this and hung up on me. Will never return here again. Tell all your family and friends to be careful dealing with McQuillen. Ron the Sales Manager admitted and apologized to us that we don't get the treatment and it was their error. Was going to backdate the paperwork for treatment he wanted to apply to our new vehicle, we refused as it would be illegal to do so as it was not the same vehicle, not the same year, make or model. Be careful dealing...
Read moreScheduled a service appointment with Greg for inspection, transmission fluid change and one tire pressure monitor replacement. Provided make and model of my car and that I had an extended warranty to cover any sensor repairs. Greg said he could perform all services I needed for my vehicle. I arranged rides to drop my vehicle the evening before to allow time needed for service. Greg called at 3 pm to let me know that he didnât have the tools to work on my transmission and didnât want to sit on hold to talk to the warranty company about my tire sensor. He didnât put my tires back on in the order he took them off so now none of them work because the system cannot relearn the position because one is out. If I had known he wasnât going to perform all services, I would have scheduled somewhere else to avoid going another day without a vehicle. My convenience and satisfaction was definitely not a priority. He did perform the inspection, which is why I gave a 2...
