This is transmission on 10 month old Whirlpool washer. Shortly after purchased a new electric board was installed, hose burst I now have to replace laundry room floor. Repairman told me he's never seen a transmission like this on a NEW machine. Store manager or Whirlpool will not replace they want me to buy extended warranty. We are a senior couple so machine use is minimal. New owner and management obviously do not stand behind what they sell. The condition of the transmission in the photo makes me wonder if I was sold a machine with used parts. Is that possible? Yes machine has been repaired, parts replaced but would anyone expect to have these issues with a new appliance? When the warranty is up in March with past problems I will be forced to BUY the extended warranty. Shoddy workmanship shoddy policies. In your response you admit your store represents Whirlpool products. You told me I was posting untruths to which I said if you can tell me what they are I would retract. When I called about the hose bursting and the damage it did you admitted your store supplied the hoses. I half way expected T&C to take ownership of that and do the honorable thing or something. I was able to get what I needed - a new fridge - and it was delivered same day which is why they get 3 stars. The delivery guys accidentally damaged my wall while removing my old fridge and I called t&c, delivery guys took photos etc. The owner was supposed to call and come by to fix it, but showed up without calling while I was in the shower (only knew because I have a ring doorbell). I called and told the gal what happened and she said she would pass it on. Never heard from anyone again and it’s been about 4 weeks....
