Aquilis — Local services in Glassport

I wrote a review for this company three years ago, and in it, I said I'd be back when my old computer had seen its last. Well, I came back to Aquilis when the hard drive of that old 12-year-old computer died. Nick is really knowledgeable! He built my new mid-grade computer from scratch, giving me options of choice on all the components. The warranties are wonderful. All the systems run super smoothly. He transferred my external hard drive data into the new computer, installed apps for me to navigate more easily, installed virus protection, cleaned up all my old programs so as to not have to install all new software, and made several house calls to accomplish all this, from my purchase through installation with battery backup, as well, and for a great price too. I had to wait longer for this service this time around due to Covid, but I am very pleased with my new system. He's also so accommodating to help me understand some computer thing or fix a problem. Terrible. Took 11 months for my laptop to be finished. Would not recommended going here! Wasn't until I threatened the BBB and Attorney General that they called me the very next day to say it was miraculously done the very next day after being told one thing after another from parts had to be ordered, part sent was broken, parts coming from China, screen not working (was working when dropped it off), mouse pad not working (also was working when dropped off), and then tried to keep charger I dropped off with laptop saying that it could be charger and gave me new charger. Requested to have old charger back, not sure why they would want to keep it. Oh and then when requested charger back he said to other guy "well we cant guarantee any work if she takes the old charger back, can we?" I was desperate to get my son's newer Dell laptop fixed since he uses it for school and needed it right away or he would fall behind and his attendance would be poor. I called around every local computer repair shop and either they were to expensive, to busy and would take days to even look at my son's laptop, or weren't in on the weekends. I finally got LUCKY AND FOUND AQUILIS. The gentleman who answered the phone was very kind and knew exactly what the issue was and told me he had the part in stock and we could come right away and when I got there, the gentleman took the laptop and in minutes it was fixed because he didn't want my son to miss school. Where can you find that kind of service anymore? I paid my very reasonable fees and was on my way. I maybe spent 15 minutes in there and my son is ready for school again. Thank you guys.
