Dollar General — Local services in Port Vue

This location is terrible. I live very close so I'm always going there often, but I think I'm done now. There's always things in the aisles that need put away and in the way of what I need to get to or they are out of what I need. The new parking lot is not properly set up, the entrance side is so far over. And the self checkouts are never opened so there's only one cashier at a time which causes a long line to form. It's a joke. Went there tonight around 830 for a couple things on my way home and they closed at 7 pm. The nice employees are the only saving grace...

I have shopped in the Port Vue Dollar General since it opened. I do not go in there as often anymore due to the terrible condition of the store.. It has gone down hill in the past 2 years. The store is not shoppable. There is merchandise everywhere. Clearance merchandise is on the floor which is unsafe for everyone especially senior citizens. The parking lot is full of pot holes which is unsafe. I understand that is the landlords responsibility. Please do something to improve this...

My daughter forgot her purse here late on July 15th. Her irresponsibility but we were there when they opened the next day to retrieve it. Her purse was there but her credit card, debit card, air pods and 100 cash were all gone. I had my receipt showing what time we were there. Employees claimed they could not see on the cameras who stole the items and would not tell me who turned the purse in. I think that tells me everything I need...
