I have a paid membership. This morning I canceled. Went there to get a wash this morning. It had been a while since i have got to get a wash . After long periods and heavy rainfall. I would go get my car washed. I have gone before and after the wash have notice that car had serveral dirty streaks or patches. In pervious situations the Gentleman Manager provided me the opportunity to have a rewash. Hence, this morning after washing again I noticed several dirty streaks on my car. So again i went for a rewash (as members) I was never told that I couldn't have 2 washes. I rode through again trying to get the wash. The lovely attendant tried to help me. She couldnt so she called another. At this time I was talking to some friends on my phone in my car. Then the two attendees must have called the manager. She must have not like my face or my accent was too deep. This lady started an elaborate explanation as to why i cant get my rewash, despite my car still being dirty. Manager was rude, combative and belligerent, today of all days, I didn't have to energy for it. I tried to explain to her that I have had this before. Allow me have a rewash because my car is dirty and she just proceeded to argue. Since i was on a call. I kept rolling my window up after every interaction to ensure that i could still carry on my conversation on the phone. Hence, there is no way I could have been arguing with the Manager. What surprised me most and to be honest is how she came at me, not a apologetic about any misunderstandings nothing about here was kind and helpful. It was like she came to war or fight me. I really hope this isn't because of my her own prejudices because that what it felt like. We a black woman speaks up she's loud (Wow) Replay your video, look if I was being loud or disrespectful to any of the attendees or your manager. Instead of arguing, ( I dont do drama) I just canceled my membership. Who has the energy to argue with customers đ¤ đ? . Furthermore, it's Christmas arent people a little nicer? I will gladly take my business elsewhere! I was driving too far anyhow. P.S. It's easier to be nice than to be...
Read more1st time at Showroom Shine car wash on Furnace Branch Rd Glen Burnie and I was not impressed. And before you ask, I spoke to the supervisor outside who was very welcoming when I arrived and she said, "let me know if you have any concerns" Sad, because I was very optimistic at first. I paid $28 which was $23 for their highest wash package and an additional $5 for "ceramic sealant" They do nothing to your interior which is one of my favorite parts of a car. Wash the vacuuming and especially the windows! I hate doing windows in the car. They're website says free vacuums with any wash. So they never shut off and you can vacuum "at your leisure." However, there are signs posted on every single vacuum spot. That say "10 minute limit". That does not work for me as I have a 3 row Ford Explorer SUV. I will say that the vacuum and detailer hose have great suction pressure. And they also have an air gun that helps you blow stuff out of the crevices. But still with all that said... I don't wanna do it myself when I go to a so-called full service car wash. You can clearly see the tire shine portion of the wash. Is not calibrated right? As I have 2 spaces on every single tire that are dry and the Tire shine oil is spaced evenly apart. And I believe that is the product that spattered in my wheel wells as well as down the lowest portion of the sides of the car. This is where the supervisor told me that I drove through something and it didn't happen from there system. I told her I didn't believe her.. So her "let me know if there is any problem" Statement was worthless to me. You can also see that the rims are not cleaned well either. The supervisor did nothing to address the issue of the wheels not even being fully serviced by the tire treatment. Such hollow words are not going to keep you in business. I will not...
Read moreBeen twice, very nice facility and friendly staff. The free vacuum and compressed air are nice albeit it could better - see below. The brushes here seem pretty aggressive on my truck which is concerning.
I went today and decided to try the $25 wash. Im not sure what was applied but when i got out to towel off my truck, there was this splatter all down the sides of my white truck. My truck is white and new so it was very visible. It looked to me like their tire shine got splattered on my doors on both sides. It was difficult to wipe off with the towel but fortunately I was able to clean off both sides of my truck - not cool.
For sake of comparison, just yesterday I took my truck to Ultimate Shine Car Wash in Christiansburg VA (exact same type of car wash almost in every way, even looks the same, the car wash prices were the same) and they not only provide free vacuum and compressed air, but they also provide FREE towels, the towels are well stocked on carts on either side of the vacuum lot. They also provided FREE glass cleaner. There were a half a dozen bottles stocked on the same cart as the towels. The experience here just felt exceptionally better and I didnt feel nickle and dimed nor did I have tire shine splatter all down the side of my truck after their $25 wash.
Conversly Showroom Shine charges it's customers an additional $5 for the privilege of being able to use a 14"x14" towel, which I had to ask for. Yea I can get another towel, but only after I stop and go track down one of the staff. Just seems to fall well short of the experience I had Ultimate Shine Car Wash.
And get that tire shine splatter...
