Champs use to be my my go-to spot. Every Friday. I got the same thing every time. All I had to do was call, they would tell me my order, pay and get delivered. Today I said my order over the phone to a little older lady there. She is nice. But a little harsh. When I got there to pick up she read me a different order and she had to remake my subs. I sat for about 20 mins and waited. She compensated me with a free fry and soda, meanwhile, there was only 2 cooks there who seemed to be new. She was training and yelling at them and they were confiding in me that everything was cool. Then they all argued loud and harshly for a bit. When I finally got my food and got home. It was wrong. I had a huge hunk of cheese that was solid in the middle of my sub. And had none of the toppings I asked for. I ate it because I paid for it. But there was no hotts no fried onions. Just lettuce, mayo, and bacon. While the little lady is nice. She did argue with me for a minute on what I ordered. She probably could have heard me if she let me talk instead of cut me off to finish my sentence. I don’t think this will be my go-to spot anymore and it’s a shame. I miss the old cooks. The old chicken cheese steaks were huge, cooked nice and moist, bread was soft and moist from the steam and condiments. Now it’s just a dry sub from around the corner 😥😢😭 (pic): left is the huge hunk of cheese.

i specifically ordered the sub special, 3-9” subs with 3 fries and 3 sodas for $34.99 and i added a 14” pizza which should’ve only came up to $6.99 added under the deal. the total should’ve came up to around $40 - $45 with tax either way but i ended up paying $60. i get the food around 40 mins later which isn’t bad timing but i see after i get in the house i got the pizza, 3 drinks and 3 subs. i look at the receipt and seen she did not give me the special. i paid for the subs, and drinks at regular price same with the pizza. did not get any fries. paid more than what i should’ve for what i ordered. im not mad that i didn’t get the fries but im mad i spent more money for what i got. my family has been ordering from here since i was a kid and this is my first time ordering myself. the lady on the phone was rude and didn’t seem like she cared, when i called back she was very disrespectful and ended up hanging up on me. so in conclusion in the future i will be ordering else where, where i can get my moneys worth and not have to worry about things like this. update: they brought the fries, they weren’t even half full.

This used to be my favorite place to order from. 1 or 2 nights a weeks for a large family. Last few times I have ordered has been terrible. Food took twice as long as quoted or not even delivered at all. Called and the people were rude and said call grub hub like it’s it’s not their problem. For years I raved about this place. Now I won’t even try it anymore. Edit: decided to try again because of how much I used to love the place. Delivery took almost 2 hours. When called I was hung up on 4 times. Got the food and 3 items were missing. Called again and finally got a hold of someone and they said they would send it out. I decided to pick it up and the lady there claimed it wasn’t on the order but refused to look at my receipt and just said they would give it to me anyway and still refused to look at the receipt. Got home to finally eat almost 3 hours after ordering and found the shrimp on my shrimp salad sub RAW. Never again. And the place is filthy. Edit again. Ordered fried dough. Bugs in it

I placed an order via website. Got confirmation & told 15-20 mins for pickup. Then the website workers called me and said " Champs is a little behind and are busy, your order will be an hour. Do you still want it?" Well I didn't have an answer because my daughter was leaving Marley Station Mall so I told them I will call them back. No more then seconds later my daughter called and said " Champs said the Website orders don't work but if she placed the order now it would take 30 mins." This was stated by the female that worked the front counter today 2/4/17 at 5pm. My daughter wasn't sure so she called me and asked "do we want to wait or get something somewhere else?" After hearing 30 mins if she ordered in person and an hour for an order that I placed online over 10 mins ago already I called the location. The same girl answered that told my daughter this and you will know why I know this shortly. I asked the girl why the time difference? She said the site didn't work. Well that's odd the site, store and I all spoke about the order. I asked again why the time difference when we were told 30 mins if we placed it in store? I went on to say what do you push the website orders behind the in person orders or do you lie the time to the walk ins just to get their order & money? She said the site always states 20-30 mins. I said no you told my daughter personally face to face that it's 30 mins. She said it's 30-60 mins to me but nothing about 60 to my daughter. Now my daughter isn't some kid, she's 19 and is in college so she can comprehend very well. After saying this and questioning them like I did, I told her to cancel my order. But she didn't hear it because she slammed the phone down to hang up and then yelled " Shut the F up!" I know this because my daughter was inside the store and she was going to tell them to cancel the order. After that my daughter left and called me and asked did you just hang up with Champs? I said yes why? Then she told me what she said. Very professional when your wrong, when other customers are in the establishment and I'm willing to bet she wasn't the manager and he or she didn't reprimand her either.

Well they lost my business and I will tell my company and fellow employees/friends not to go there. Great job at customer service. The website called me back and I told them they said that their service didn't work and they were...

I was very disappointed with my experience. On cinco de Mayo, I noticed that they were offering “$2 Tacos” and $5 margarita special. Since I have ordered drinks from here before, I decided to try the steak tacos. As I was starting to eat, I couldn’t help but notice how cold the steak was and how soggy the tortilla shells was. I didn’t want any more of it and threw it away, telling myself, “I won’t be getting food from here again”. Well, I should have stuck to my word. I ordered chicken wings and fries from them, again with a couple of drinks, a couple of days ago. Thinking to myself, “how can you mess up chicken?” So I ordered the meal “extra crispy”, in hopes that I would get some good, crispy chicken. Welp, once I got my food and began to eat, I noticed in the first piece that I broke apart that it was black on the inside. Opened another piece of chicken, the same thing and the meat in both pieces were sooo dried out, I couldn’t even eat around the dark parts. Oh! And not to mention, ice cold fries. I called the store back to make them aware that I was dissatisfied with my order and assumed they would rectify the situation. But no, after explaining the issue to 2 people on the phone, I was put on “hold” to then speak with a gentleman who said, “Well you ordered extra crispy so that’s what you got. Next time, don’t get them extra crispy”. I was taken back because I didn’t think extra crispy means black, dried out meat. I thought it meant that the skin would be ..... extra crispy. After getting off the phone, I decided to call back, cancel the remake of the order, and requested a refund. I was truly surprised about the lack of accountability and basic customer service skills. I liked their drinks, but I won’t be ordering from...

Giving this establishment negative 5 stars.

A couple days prior I was dining in at Champs Pizza & Subs after seeing a post on Facebook. Ordered a Large Buffalo Chicken Pizza, in regards to the food it was mediocre at best. I would consider it a below average quality pizza lacking a crispy crust. But the worst was yet to come -

Upon receiving my box of pizza I went to sit down at a table and eat a slice before heading home, less than a minute into my meal I saw a cockroach crawl out from within a crevice of the pizza box. In disgust I went to the bathroom to gargle water, as soon as I turned on the lights in the bathroom I saw cockroaches scatter away around the sink area. While exiting I spotted "rodent" feces on the floor as well. Having worked in the restaurant industry I'm familiar with the do's and don'ts.

Nonetheless, this restaurant is a major health hazard. Upon going back to my table I opened my pizza box and saw two cockroaches crawling over my pizza after being gone for only 5 minutes!

After confronting the Manager/Owner with my concerns I was verbally insulted for trying to obtain a "free meal" and accused of bringing in cockroaches to frame him myself -_-

Without hesitation I left the restaurant and further hope that they address their hygienic issues before someone ends up getting extremely sick. Health issues aside, it's very demoting for a business owner to start yelling at the top of his lungs and cussing at a first time customer, wishing Champs the best of luck.

Update: Upon scrolling through previous reviews I see that there have been alot of complaints regarding sanitation and in response the Owner always says that "they're fake reviews".

Which is why I hereby certify this as a...
