I would not recommend the new addition of this RV park! We booked with the description of new landscape, my assumption was that there would be the start of something but there was actually NO landscape. We pulled in to a dirt parking lot. The sites were not level, the spots were really close together, and there were several trailers that were being lived in and were unsightly (one up on cinder blocks and another with spray painted windows). Be prepared for the train that is very close, the first night it ran every two hours. When we checked in we were told that because of a family death the landscaping did not get put in. I can understand life situations, but this should not have been falsely advertised as it was and it definitely was not worth the $50/night!! Two different times we were told that many were not happy about the dirt lot, but they chose to do nothing about all the complaints. We refused to give them more money that weekend so we cancelled our food reservations, didn't explore the winery and couldn't wait to...
Read moreThis was our third time staying at this park. We like to golf, drink wine and enjoy the wonderful vineyards. So this is the perfect place to enjoy the things we enjoy. The young ladies who checked us in were extremely friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. They took care of our stay, golf times and our dinner reservations. We would have rated this a 5 star but the down side was the rv site #16 we reserved. The map shows this site as accommodating 50 feet. However we were pressed to park our 35 foot 5th wheel with absolutely no room to park our truck. The hookups are not set up on the side that is needed for most trailers. Thankfully we had extra long hoses and electrical that we made it work. Site #16 needs to be reconfigured or at least make a change to the park map to make campers aware of odd configuration and change the maximum length of your rig. We do love this place and we will be back but not...
Read moreOur Minnie Winnies’ awning came out and broke in a windstorm about 18 miles from here. we worked for almost 4 hours in the dark to duct tape it up , and realized we hadn’t thought of where to go. On a hunch of a google search, this was the first place that caught my eye. I called at 1030 at night expecting a series of rings, a message saying to call tomorrow, and a click. Instead, the phone was answered and we were directed to come on in tonight and pay in the morning. We limped over at 25MPH on 84 and pulled in in the dark. In the morning, the lovely views of Y Knot Winery made me smile as I walked my dog. Everything is going to be alright. So glad to be laid up in such a beautiful and friendly place. ...
