Twin Pin Bowling Center Yorktown Naval Weapons Station — Local services in Gloucester Point

Just left Twin Pin, and I certainly do NOT recommend this place! The manager, Denny was incredibly rude... I had called two weeks prior to book a party. I was told that you could not reserve lanes unless you had a party of 45 or more. He checked the books and said that there were lanes open on the date we wanted from 7:00 to 9:00. I would just need to come at that time because it’s first come first serve... My husband and I just popped in today (a week out) to see what food was served. When we got there, the same guy then told us that there is now a party reserved! We wouldn’t have even known if we had not shown up today!!! Twin Pin Lanes is unexpectedly a fun place. With only six lanes, it offers a different feel from the normal bowling lanes. With a homely feel of couches for chairs on the lanes to televisions on either side and a drop down screen for movies. The lanes themselves offers a multitude of options: options of fun themes on the display, chatting with other lanes (great for parties), blacklight bowling and best of all...pictures for your name. The dining options are awesome and have a wide variety from pizza to fried shrimp. Prices are fair and food is pretty good especially for a bowling alley. Birthday party for my child. We accidentally left three ceramic decorations that came from my sons room. We immediately called the staff to have them put them aside and we were told they were behind the counter so my husband could pick up. When he got there we were told someone else took them. They didn’t have them. We called and tried to talk to the manager on 20 or so different occasions to try to get camera footage and it’s been 4 months with no results. I grew up here going to this bowling alley and will not go again. Pretty sure staff threw the ceramic ducks in the trash and lied about it. They were in my husbands family since he was a young child and my 6 year is still very upset that they are missing. Horrible...
