Burger King — Restaurant in Virginia

So this is a newish micro sized BK, it can't be more than a couple of years old. I swear this place was so clean and shiny when I visited on a recently that I thought it had been planted and grown overnight.

It's a bit off the beaten path as it's located at the very top part of Newport News just before you get to Yorktown. I was on my way to Richmond to do some photography at Belle Isle and we decided to stop and get some breakfast. The location for this BK worked really well for us because there's so little at this exit that we were able to hop off I64 and pull into the parking lot a couple of moments later. The only other business nearby is a 7-11. Since they was no traffic we were the only customers at that point and were able to walk in and order right away.

The staff was friendly and everyone was wearing masks and observing social distancing, etc. While the dining room was open, there was no one eating within. We ordered our breakfasts and decided to take them back to the car and just stood outside and enjoyed the morning air while we ate. I haven't had a BK breakfast in quite a long time and found my croissant was was excellent. I had a side of tots and a cup of coffee to round out the meal.

There were no trash cans in the parking lot so I returned inside to throw the bag away when we were finished. This was a great little BK from what I've experienced. I'm likely to stop here again on my way to Richmond...

This location is too new to be this bad!!! I only visit this location because it is the only restaurant in proximity of my job. In the morning, they give you sandwiches that have been sitting in a bin, (whose does that in 2019) I have to warm them when I get to work which is less than ½ mile down the road. On several occasions I have asked for sausage egg and cheese croissants and got either ham or bacon. I always ask for everything “FOB” and it’s still not hot or fresh, their comment is it just came up and it hasn’t. I’ve had incidents where the Manager had to deliver food to my job because they screwed up so bad and the employees during lunch think everything is a joke, are lackadaisical and nonchalant. When you ask to speak to the Manager to get your order corrected their attitude is just as bad as the employees. No one is trying to get over; they just want what they paid for a hot quality meal. I will just start making the additional 2-3 mile trip down the road because this location...

I am so over this place. I'm not a fan of fast food, but I do like a Wopper about once a month. This place is on my way to work, and the only thing I ask is a #1 with extra ketchup on the burger. However, I have gotten either no ketchup, nothing other than ketchup, and once, so much ketchup that it actually leaked through the wrapper and bag onto my seat; they must have used an entire bottle. Today was no different. Once again, I asked for a #1 with extra ketchup. Even at the window, she repeated my order. At work, I sat and bit into it and immediately spit it out. Of course, no ketchup but nearly a dozen pickles and so much salt that it left a burning sensation in my mouth.
