Artist's beware. This place is predatory, at the very least they will waste your time, read this before putting your work in one of those rental spaces. They are sweet to your face while they conspirer against you. I'm not the first one that didn't pass their little test period. So yeah, I got voted off the so called island, after being patient about everything, they had zero tolerance when I ran into a scheduling issue on week five. Before that my handmade cards were stolen from this place, which I was blamed for. They misrepresented how things would work and acted shocked when I thought things were what they originally described to me. There was a super chill about the place from many of the fellow vendors, which I was willing to wait that out, but apparently my optimism was quite off putting. Anyways kicking out new artists seems to be serial behavior, so unless you like to kiss booties, specifically of the owner, Collette and terry, one of the vendors, in hopes of being treated professionally. I would suggest skipping it. I was told that I was "mean" to terry. Which is the exact opposite, this lady was acting like a tyrant or a brat, even came into my booth when i had customers and started debating what i was telling them about my work! The only thing I did to make her mad was to gracefully tolerate her with patience. I even took my customers around and showed them her work and other artists in there to be friendly. I'd suggest avoiding renting a booth from these haters. They will act like school kids and then say that's what you are doing...

As far as customers go, watch your step this lady couldn't pick up dog poo on the stoop of her business for the five weeks I dealt with her. She didn't do things when she said she would. She was Rude, unprofessional she took hearsay and attempted to use it against me, as if not being around haters isn't a goal of mine. She took my positive attitude about the place and my excitement to be there and used it against me. Before I was aware of that, she displayed a plethora of unprofessionalism... it started with her telling me my space would be ready on a specific day, but, not even giving me a heads up when it wasn't. Just letting me come in with all my work and to find the space was not ready. I was like, ok, no worries, I can come back. So I set up later, Met everyone and left a nice review for the place. Encouraging Kingman and other folks to come check this place out, and you can it's like a high end swap meet. They don't like real art though, or real artists, they will be intimidated if you don't, act like you're real small and real quiet. I had a great feeling about the place and thoroughly enjoyed it, but these ladies are not moving right. They are Not concerned about the right things. Not professional, not welcoming. They are not running a business.... and I don't do clicks, or cults, not saying that's what this is, but the hair on the back of my neck may say otherwise... I am not for bully systems or shunning folks, so even if I saw them do this to someone else I would have not been down... I'm not going to act depressed and small to make other people comfortable. So whatever is going on at this place, they were right about one thing, we were not a good fit. But some of the vendors were genuine, and there still happens to be some genuinely talented people in there. So, hopefully they don't get pushed out, I won't mention them by name here for fear it will do them a disservice. Best wishes to the genuine people I met in this lions den. Also the photos I posted are of my art and my little space I paid and set it up and was kicked out on week 5... I'm truly glad to be out of there, having someone lie to you, about you is a shocker, acting one way for 4 weeks and then confessing they had been fake with me the whole time as they kicked me out on week 5... 🤔😲😊 Was...
