Ridley's Family Markets — Local services in Gooding

I have never had such a horrible experience in a Ridley’s until today! I was in line waiting to be checked out, as I’m in line in watching the lady be extremely rude to this old lady. The older lady’s pin was pushed in incorrectly and the cashier looked at her and said it didn’t go through so the old lady tried it again as the old lady was putting in the pin again the cashier made a remark saying “it’s been 20 minutes he’s been on his brake” the lady looked at her and said what was that and the cashier said oh I’m talking to myself. The card went through and her receipt printed the cashier did not inform the old lady she just put the receipt on the counter and began to scan the next persons stuff. The older lady wasn’t aware it went through so she handed her a 100$ bill the cashier acted shocked as if she was receiving a tip 🤦🏽‍♀️ the older lady said it’s for my groceries and the cashier finally informed her it went through. Then I get up there and she doesn’t say anything. I put in my advantage number while she’s scanning and the cashier says advantage number I said I put it in did it not work? She said yes it did. She told me my total and I gave her a 100$ bill. She takes the money give me the change without counting it back or saying anything and begins to scan the next person in line as I’m still right there counting my money to make sure she gave me the correct change. Most horrible experience I’ve ever encountered worst customer service. She needs fired or be trained on her...

Very disappointed with this store. Rude staff that are always impatient and sassy, even tell you to bag your own items. On a few handful of occassions staff have overrung items and overcharged me leading to me having to go back and have them deal with the issue. Ive had random unexplained charges come up from ridleys and recieved no help in getting them fixed and have had to file through my bank to fix it. And lastly, lately they have been selling expired items and not on a random and or occasional basis- ive come home with expired items and or go to try and buy something and much of it is expired and at least a week after expiration. Will no longer shop here and will go elsewhere, to many flaws to even want to continue to give it a shot. Walmart and or M&W will have to do better quality and service anyways. Ridleys is supposed to be a good place. Still a garbage...

It's too big to be a mom & Pop store, but it's too small to get any kind of deals from merchandisers.

It's a substandard grocery store that looks like they last remodeled in the early 1980's, and the last time they cleaned it was not too long after that.

And the pharmacy uses the lowest price generics they can find, then refuses to let you use any kind of discount card that might save you a few bucks.

Drive to an Albertsons/Savon pharmacy, you'll get a better quality product with better quality employees. In a...
