Been dying to go there forever. Finally made it out there yesterday and was highly disappointed. First of all what happened to the donkeys that were in the coral? Before going I checked out their Facebook page and it was not helpful since they do not keep it updated. My husband and I pulled in and no one was in the parking lot and it was around 11:30 am. We walked in, and it was dead silent. No one greeted us. There was a TV in the back above playing something about two people trying the sauce, other then that it was just us two, two employees by the fudge and a guy in the office. Was surprised to see there was no samples, wait, let me correct that, there was 3 samples of the hot peanuts. We thought there would be some chips and sauces out to try, but nope. Or even the hot honey or jam. Also felt like the store would have a little more product 🤔, or it could have been the way it was displayed. At this point we have been walking around for 10 mins and not one person still has said hello. Poor customer service, even the guy opened the office door while we where standing next to it ,walked right past us and still nothing. 🤦🏼♀️ I mean we are customers who could learn about the different types of hot sauces and no one came over. We then thought we would go over to where the hot fudge was. I was interested in maybe getting some, plus the 2 employees where behind the counter there. Not one word or acknowledgement. After this, I told me husband let's go. This left a bad taste in our mouths. We decided we wouldn't buy from a company who couldn't even greet their potential customers. Pretty sad. We don't recommend this place. If you do want amazing hot...
Read moreI’ve been here a few times, but somehow missed a review. If you love hot sauce or just want to check out some snacks, souvenirs or even get some ice cream this might be a stop for you . When I road trip I love to stop at random and off the wall places. I of course live in the valley, but if you have littles just coming to the front lot you can take some cute photo ops and sometimes even see horses or a donkey in the past grazing the field out front. This visit was a bit rough as a family member passed away the night before and I was just trying to get out of the house. I started driving and ended up here. We were surprised to see we were the only ones inside. A woman came out and greeted us instantly. We also got a strong sniff of some of the salsa they were making. Certain days it can get pretty spicy. So if hot stuff bothers you this may be mad for you. My family loves hot stuff so we bought quite a few things. The employee working was so kind, talkative and helpful. She had no idea what I was going though, but her kindness went such a long way. I ordered a few scoops of the Thrifty ice cream they offered to go as well. Prices can be steep depending on what...
Read moreHot sauce galore. Loved the donkeys out front. They need a good farrier to trim those hooves though. All I could do was window shop since they close early. Very cute, funny, clean location. Fields for the donkeys we're impeccable. Check out the outhouse...eeek! Lol I had fun...
