Where do I start! I called to make an appointment for color cut and blow and was told to come right away, I live 2 mins away so I was there RIGHT AWAY! She did the color and washed my hair and sat me down. I notciced that my ears and forehead where completely dyed as well but she told me she would fix it so I was fine. She then started doing someone else’s hair, I’m such a patient person and the lady had short hair so I was like ok fine! THEN she started doing someone else’s hair!!! So I politely tell her that I’m ready to get a cut and a blow so I can go home I have kids to pick up from school. She rudely tells me that they had appointments that’s when I said I called to make an appointment and was told to come right in if not I would’ve made an appointment for another day. She rudely rolled her eyes and tells me so what do you want to do? I was like what do you mean what do I want to do? This is how I’m supposed to leave the salon and she said yes it’ll be $70!!!! At this point I wanted to cry but I kept my composure and said fine I’ll give you the money but you’ll never see me again not that they care! Just give you guys a heads up it’s the lady that works all the way to the back right at a station with long hair and a puffy snooki hairdo, but what also shocked me what that there was another lady there that I’ve seen her working there since Valentinas opened because I’ve been going there for seven years and she just looked at me and didn’t even come to make me feel better I cried all the way to...

The place is welcoming. The staff is uplifting and very knowleadgeable. Each one of them a treasure on her/his own. The owner, Valentina, has created a casual yet very welcoming place where the clientele comes, not only to receive services, but to relax and enjoy the attention provided by the staff. The hairstilists are Dianelis, Dairys, Yamilé, Analía, Pilar, Valentina, and Angel (the in house barber). Their service is excellent, professional, and awesome. I have never been disappointed with them, specially Dianelis, my personal hairstilist. The manicurists,(Maritza, Arleny and Cuquita)are fun, experienced, and willing to bring your ideas or choices to life bringing their clients personalities through their nail styles. Johnathan took care of me after I bleached my hair at home 2x. It looked like Halloween came early with some sections looking a golden orange and others black from some old box dye I did a year ago. He didn’t make me feel embarrassed for messing with my own hair which I think is important since it was something I was a bit nervous about.

He color corrected my hair and we ended up going for a copper red so that we wouldn’t damage my hair too much and it’d still be a change. I’m obsessed with the color. Not only did he do a FANTASTIC job but he was a dream. Hilarious and sweet. I want only him to touch my hair now....
