Gump's IGA — Local services in Grafton

The signage on the store front shows two different names. It is a run down store that needs some TLC. I went in to find two products, one of which was fresh chicken breast. I searched the entire store and found only frozen chicken. I found and purchased one of the products I went in for. When I went to check out, there was no person there by a bell was placed on the belt. So I rang the bell and a woman came from the other side of the store to wait on me. She was very friendly and was quick to check me out. Although, things seemed a little strange at the store, the cashier was personable and my experience...

As I waited to get food from the deli, I noticed that neither the two employees working was wearing gloves... Now this wouldn’t of bothered me till the one boy took a phone call and then ran his hands through his hair...while making pepperoni rolls...disgusting. Then I noticed the female cutting ham and touching every machine back there. While getting this one woman’s food. I was told about them selling expired food and medicine...but this is just gross. They need to be fined and shut down...

I was so thankful to have been able to buy a small cake at an affordable rate just $4.99. I was greeted with a smile when my Father and I entered the front of the store. That meant a lot to me. I will shop at IGA again for sure. Thank you so much for being a part of this community. Much Love
