You can find grocery items here priced better than anywhere else will ever have em. Of course its usually close to expiration dates, so eat it up quick. They also often have free stuff to give away when it is really really close to expiration. I believe that 90% of the (non-food) items in this store are big box store RETURNS & damages. So always inspect it and beware that it may be damaged or missing parts. I buy flowers for my oldests daughters grave here for only $1 per stem and they are big stems of flowers. Several times I have bought pet products that once i got the items home and took the tape off that was placed by REA employees, found that the items were completely unusable and had to be thrown in the garbage. They should better inspect the items before 'taping' it up and placing it on the sales floor. You cant take anything back. Once you buy it, its yours. But I got a dog collar that had tape wrapped all around it (by rea staff) so I assumed it was good. Got it home, took the tape off and under the tape, the collar had been chewed completely through by either a dog or a rat in the store. Ive also gotten several tick collars from there that were taped up boxes without collars inside. They would have the little 2-4 inches of collar that was cut off of the actual collar to size it to fit. But no collar in the box, only trash. But I am very pleased with the prices of pet items when they are usable. There are some sorry folks who shop here though. I went one Saturday, I was 7 months obvious pregnant and I casually walked over to a bin full of pillows, reached in and pulled up a pillow and some p/w trash skaglywag who was on the other side of the bin acting like a mad man dived all the way across the bin and tried to forcefully, violently snatch the pillow out of my hands as if it were a black friday tv. I didnt even want the pillow. I had just picked it up because the "as seen on tv" logo caught my attention. But anyone who would assault a pregnant woman for it, didnt deserve it, so I had to keep a firm grip on it and came real close to laying her out across the floor. Staff is friendly, but beware of lunatic shoppers. Also once I was going through a bin of baby stuff and as I was reaching for a package of pacifiers a lady reached under my hand, snatched them up opened the package and stuck one in her toddlers mouth. For the people complaining about it being hot inside, they are a charity, sincerely helping others. The cost of cooling the place is high (Goodwill keeps their stores cold for the comfort of the employees, spending a huge part of the donated money on overhead) The one claiming they're rude seem to have issues with everyone. You're not the only Veteran. He doesn't accept that the world doesn't revolve around him. The place is not serving food, who cares if it's disorganized. One cashier? Employees do call in sick, I assure you this was not to inconvenience you and those that drive up with 5 family members to buy more than their share only to sell for a profit, you are taking from God. I don't work there but I have noticed such people there. They find fault with everyone and everything. This is a warehouse of donated items to help others and help us to help others in need. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced the girl that was there and her friend Christian Flynn were the rudest people I’ve ever met up with in my entire life . She has posted things (lies )on social media about people and when I was there they were extremely rude the other lady was a skinny girl that was rude also will never shop that store again and will never recommend that store to anyone else .
