The manager tried to rip me off. I asked specifically for a rapid conventional oil change. I made it clear to the person who checked me in that all I wanted was a oil change. She said the filters also were included. Great! So when it was time to check out and pay, the manager informed me that I asked for synthetic oil. I told him that she asked me what kind of oil I wanted. He said that non synthetic oil comes with a rapid conventional oil change. So I asked him, why was I asking what kind of oil I wanted? According to the manager there’s only one kind of oil that comes with a conventional oil change. Non Synthetic. And like I said, I made it very clear that I wanted a rapid conventional oil change. Also what I asked for does not include any lube or grease. But when I was waiting for the job to be completed, someone came to me and asked me if I wanted my 5th wheel greased. I informed him that what I wanted doesn’t include any grease. He said when he sees someone that needs their 5th wheel greased he just does it. No charge. So I said go ahead. Now I’m checking out, and the manager tried to charge me for synthetic oil. Once I made it clear that I would not pay for it. He said okay. I’ll knock $50 off. But I’m gonna charge you for the 5th wheel grease. I said, absolutely not! Bottom line, he tried every which way to rip me off. But it didn’t work. I ended up paying for exactly what I wanted. But he did scrape the grease off the 5th wheel. Imagine that. And they have signs all around the waiting area about how much they appreciate...

Service shop called ahead by 3 hours to schedule tire patch/replacement due to puncture and pm for truck. After confirming 4 times that we would be able to get in quick due to the nature of the load, the service staff attempted to tell us it would be between 1 to 2 hour wait. After going back and forth a bit, we were finally able to get the trailer serviced. After trailer service we had to wait for a pm. We gave the techs on staff, original tech to take first call was Eli, 2nd tech was Michael, the description of our truck (2021 volvo) and told them we need full synthetic as it would be the trucks first pm and they confirmed the details. After sitting for a total of 7 hours, the mechanic pulled us into the bay just to tell us no one informed him that it was a newer volvo and they didnt know so they cant get the oil or filters... The level of disregard and incompetence here seriously hindered our ability to deliver the critical freight needed into the timely manner promised. We will not be returning to this location for any future service, emergency or planned. The coffee shop here is amazing though. Would very much recommend...

I've been going here for almost 20 years driving a truck. Today changed my view of Joplin 44. I asked to see if a $10 steer hub cap would fit my truck. Cashier said to leave my license, I did. Cap fit and directly went back in to pay. Did the cashier hand my license back, NO! Me concerned about making my load on time, naively believed I would've been handed my license, left. Drove to OKC where my fuel stop was and realized I never got my license back from the cashier. Called and even talked to Evan the store manager, despite Joplin 44 knowing how trucking works and drives are otr drivers are never in the same place. All Evan could do was mail my id or hold it and that it was id or pay for it first. Funny how pay for it wasn't an option offered. Can't pickup loads without the hard license and I'm homeless living on the road. So neither option would work so I had no choice but to drive 200 miles back to Joplin to get it back. Did Joplin 44 or Evan take any accountability or even offer back the tolls or fuel it took to go back? HELL NO! I'm out almost $300 just to go back! All because employees couldn't...
