Very disappointed in purchase of a kgz xd the mower is great machine however the salesman Brantley who was asked 3 times for financing info and no reply and a credit card came in the mail with approximately 2,000 dollars more the quoted. He was told im tax exempt and was never told that missouri doesn't allow tax exempt on purchases. I stated I wanted 0 percent financing since I have perfect credit and when I got the credit card in the mail which I did not authorize was 0 percent for 6 months then a 30 percent intreast. I was quoted 15,600 but was charged 18,989.98. I live in Tennessee and had my son who lives near joplin pick it up and bring it to me. He rented a uhaultrailer and about 200 bucks in fuel and was supposed to pick up a john gator on his way home which he can't do now because I am returning the mower since it was not what was agreed to he has a total of 700 in expenses with trailer and gas and now has to return mower then rent another trailer to drive back to wilder Tennessee to pick up his gator. When I talked with Aaron general manager who offered to split the difference of the increase in price and that was not acceptable to me since that was not what was discussed at time of purchase. My son had bought the same mower 2 years prior at the Lockwood location and was very happy with the purchase and salesman but I had a very different experience with the joplin store. I have tried to get ahold of corporate but have not been able to get incontact with them. I would of gave a 0 star but they don't give you that option. It's so sad that they would not make things right so that is the reasoning for returning the mower which will have traveled over 1,200 miles on a trailer once its returned. Read moreI recently had the Joplin store pickup my Skag mower for service and repairs. When they finished they brought it back to me and parked it where I asked them to. Later that afternoon I got on the mower and it failed to start. I was really irked because I needed to get my grass cut and it was late on Friday afternoon and figured I would have to wait until at least the following Monday to get it fixed. I immediately called them and spoke with Tim. He told me he didn't know for sure what could be the reason it wasn't working and would have to come and get it. What I didn't expect is that Tim offered to send someone out right then and even loan me a mower. I accepted. I was just expecting them to bring some older mower. When the guy came out to get my mower I was very surprised to see a brand new shiny Skag mower on the trailor. I said there must've been a mistake and I couldn't take the mower. The guy told me that this is the way they do business. They really made me feel pretty petty about everything. I was totally expecting them to put me off for the weekend. However since then i found that this dealer was closest so I would use them to fix my unit under warentee. However it seemed to upset them that I didnt purchase the unit through them and they seem very unwilling to help me out.gone are the days of polite, helpful customer service. I called lockwood and rogersville locations and they were a different story, theywere helpful and didnt get irritated that they didnt get my commission. Its not all about money, sometimes about helping out a customer. I was going to buy a brand new unit however I think i will go someplace else.
