I went to Island Dollar looking for some things for a weekend at the beach. One of the things we needed was not available at any of the stores on the island. I went into Island Dollar and asked them if they had it. They said they typically do but they were out today. He asked for my phone number and told me he would call me when they got some. Apparently, they knew one of their employees was in Golden Meadow, because they asked me for my phone number and told me they were going to have their employee pick up a gallon of ice milk and deliver it to me in an hour. I want to give a shout out to the people of Sureway Supermarket in Grand isle. I have not met not one rude employee. Since the storm I’ve moved out to my job at the Grand Isle Marina. The only other place I go is to Sureway. They have helped me with printing out shipping labels, printing out papers for school, and I had a issue with my check because of changing my direct deposit information and they had cashed it for me. I love this place. I shop here everyday. If the store is out of anything, or doesn’t carry something that you need, they order it for you!
