It is a nice park. There is some shade in most sites. The pads are level for the most part. We have slide outs on both sides and fit easily. Easy to pull in sites. A car here or there sticking out but driving and pulling into the site was easy. The table had exposed fiberglass and one bench was useable but broken. The shower were nice and are individual. With each shower there is a sink, toilet, and a bench in the room. Could use more hot water. I showered I guess after the crowds and the shower wasn't very hot. The store/office was convenient. Priced like a you would expect. Very quiet most of the time. The next door civil airport can add some noise but was quite after 9 pm and before 8am. The staff was friendly. They didn't mow until after 9 am. There large trash cans at each site which was very convenient. The park is very close to Epic indoor water park, and Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor. There is free WiFi that was seemed pretty fast. Kids played with the Switches and we watch some internet TV and all worked fine with very little lag/buffering. For the money a nice place to stay for a few nights while exploring Dallas/Fort Worth area. If the table bench wasn't broken and didn't have exposed fiberglass all over the top and bench's would have...
Read moreMy husband and I have really enjoyed staying here. This is our 2nd time staying here. We came in on a whim and they had spaces available, but it was on Mon,Tues,Weds. We have been told weekends get busy since there's a marketplace next door on the weekends. We enjoy how close the park is to resteraunts and grocery stores. We enjoy the tree covered concrete spaces. It's not a new park but they upkeep it rather well. Of course some things need work but we don't mind because it's clean and safe. The staff has been very nice and the residents are qiuet and mind their business. We were worried as an American Black couple because there is a resident with a confederate flag flying. But he has been to himself. I am from VA where the confederate flag is extremely common so I'm not too bothered. My husband is from AZ and isn't used to seeing it, so at first he was nervous but there has been zero issues and everyone here has been kind and welcoming. We believe everyone is entiltled to their beliefs even if we don't think/feel the same. We really enjoy staying at Traders and feel it's a great value...
Read moreCalled to make a reservation. I'm glad we did not just show up. Everything was fine, until they asked the year of our RV. I was then Informed that I could Not make a reservation because my RV was To Old!? I've been asked this before at a few parks across America. They Always asked for a photo. Once they see the condition (clean, polished, imaculently maintained) it's never been an issue. Not this place. "If it 10 years or older we don't allow it, so 2003 or newer". Must have learned that new common core math. By my calculations that would be 17 years young. I just hung up and called the next place. Who had no interest in the age of my rig. I won't go where I'm not welcome. Seeing the place when we went to the flea market? They must not look out the office window very often. there are plenty of rigs on their lot that are past 10 years old. I Almost forgot about them. Seems good Sam highly recommends them even though everything is wrong. Thought regular RVers might want to know before...
