Dennis Foodland — Local services in Grant

I have been shopping at Dennis's Foodland for 29 years. This is a really upscale hometown shopping facility they have foods that are available already prepared. Their prices are very good for this area and any area around town. They have a weekly sales paper that has really nice sell prices in it. Their produce is always in good condition is not nasty or bad. They have good prices on produce usually at all times. Their meat is my favorite here out of all the stores from Hampton Cove Alabama all the way to Guntersville Alabama which includes Owens Cross Roads and Claysville. That says a lot about this particular store the prices and the quality of the meat has Walmart beat way over. They always have nice cuts on the meat and perfect sizes for any family. Their meat is fresh. Their prices in the store are very compatible with any other store around this area. I have not had any complaints with any meat that I have purchased there. This is the place to shop for meat for me and my family. If you're looking for a nice place to shop with our hometown atmosphere Foodland would be a great place to go. Grant Alabama is also a place to retire and enjoy life in the country or start up a great family with a long term life in this town to raise your family and be around Hometown people. Dennis's Foodland is very appropriate for the town in which it exists they go...

I was SO impressed with this grocery store!! The shelves are stocked in extreme order and very well. The fruits and vegetables looked very fresh, as well as their meats. I usually shop at Publix, but we were on Grant mountain this day and I needed a few items. I can tell you, their fruits and vegetables are as fresh, if not fresher, than Publix! They were beautiful! I got a whole bag of groceries, including 4 pork chops, vegetables, fruits and other items, for $27. I will probably be doing my shopping here from now on. I felt kind of awkward that I was so impressed with a GROCERY STORE!!!! But I'm telling you, whoever manages this place does a great job. The 2 cashier's were okay. They said "hello" when we walked in but not much more after that. No "thank you", "have a nice day" or anything. They seemed preoccupied with talking about whatever was on the one girls cell phone, but it didn't really matter cause I was so impressed with the store, the quality of product...

Very nice store, friendly staff also 🤗😀Altho I like foodland A lot...they are lil too pricey to have their baggers/ cashiers just throw any ole thing in the bags....OBVIOUSLY to me, they evidently do not need to by groceries or they just plain don't care Cuz things are way to expensive to have heavy cans on top my eggs, thrown 6 pack on top of my bread etc.....I would not even mind paying lil extra to go to foodland IF they knew how to bag & handle my special cargo 🙃 Cuz I am barely making ends meet anyways...sure don't need my food destroyed before I get home to unbag their messy uncaring baggin....it don't take a lot to know how to bag, first step is caring even a little about customers items they just purchased....lose your customers you'll be out...
