Rollins Lake — Local services in Grass Valley

Came here for our first annual family camping trip. Very special event. The staff is nice, thanks to my kids I do not know what these camps sight cost but more than 20 bucks a night is way too much. This place is the very bare minimum for tent camping. Out houses are gross and no light to use the facilities in the dark! 3 dollars per wake boards to put in the water, a drive to the beach and we had to pay extra to park 1 vehicle which we Squeezed into the same spot as our other vehicle! For the most part, I would go somewhere else next year! They charge by the minute for a shower which is crazy! The campsite we requested was two sites next to each other, we are spaced out so far on a hill is one sight and down the hill is the other. We all wanted to be together! High priced like 68.00 per night. No water hookup , Sewer or electricity sites old and the payment isn't good to fit RV in. The walk down to barbecue is down hill. Easy to slip and fall. The waterfronts great until you walk down the steep trail. The grounds eroded the tree roots on one side shows as the trees are ready to fall. " Dangerous !

Stayed one night and left for Far West Camp ground. The cost is 50 for full hookups . We only live in Rio Linda which is only a hr . Away. Leaving camp far west tonight @7.00 pm. Check out here is the night afterwards @9 pm. So you can spend the day having fun.

Fishing is okay at the moment. Might be better if I had a boat but I can't really say cause I don't have one lol. Greenhorn campground is $8 day use...$7 after 5pm. Long Ravine campground is $12 day use...$6 after 4pm. At least that's what they told me at their booths. For shore anglers such as myself, just park in the small free area in the south side off of Rollins lake road. Caught small 9 to 12 inch bass.
