A new update: the friendly customer service that existed here for a few years has vanished, since the installation of the self-checkout. Employees no longer greet people, even when standing three feet away: Genevieve & another employee had a conversation while I was checking-out & completely ignored me, while they were just on the other side of the counter from me. This new freedom to ignore customers may also be the reason why Gail doesn't seem to feel the need to apologize when it's pointed-out that she's interrupted a customer, not said please, & ignored the customers in the store completely until she is needed & called. I have high standards for customer service, & this store has failed to even approach them twice this week with different employees, so I am left to believe that the good leadership this store once experienced is now gone... That, or no one here cares about the fact that they are being paid to customer service professionals.
Update: this place has really turned-around. All the cashiers are friendly & the store is maintained so much better than it was. There are still some cluttered days, but the employees are working with the stuff every time I see it that way now. Unpacked inventory doesn't clog the isles with people don't nothing about it anymore. This place has become a pleasure to shop.
The first few months this store was open, it was a standard DG with decent customer service. Lately, the place is always a wreck with inventory scattered & boxes in the isles making it impossible for two carts to pass one another. Read moreI absolutely love the main manager over this dollar store and I absolutely adore some of her employees. But one thing I cannot stand is any and every time I have ever called there I get picked up and hung up on and I think that is the most disrespectful thing that anyone can do especially working customer service. Do better! And for the new ones working I know that y'all are and stay very busy doing most of the work keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about answering the phone because there's plenty of people that stay in the office at all times. Read moreVery disorganized, full stock trollies blocking most all aisles, & stock boxes laying on floors, so no easy access to the nearly bare shelves. Very understaffed, obviously, or the stock would be put up on shelves, full & neat, clean & tidy. NOT the first, 2nd, nor 10th time I've encountered this at this one store. Wish this store would be allocated more staff to better serve the community bc the few lady workers i have encountered are very sweet & apologetic despite their store's...
