Spent Over $2,500 — Disrespected and Baselessly Accused in Front of My Daughter

Over the past 6 months, I’ve spent between $2,000 and $2,500 at this store. I consistently paid 2x MSRP for sealed products and accepted trades heavily favoring the store. I supported what I believed was a local, community-focused business.

During one visit—while my 3-year-old daughter was with me—the staff (five family members) made vague but pointed comments implying theft had occurred. They never addressed me directly but made it clear I was being treated with suspicion. Being accused like that in front of my young child was humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional.

On a later visit, I tried to trade a high-value PSA card for a low-value raw card, and was outright refused. A friend who has spent just as much was also denied an offer on over $250 worth of cards.

This isn’t a one-time issue. It’s a pattern of inflated prices, unfair trades, and blatant disrespect for loyal customers. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you value fair treatment...

I Googled "card shop near me" and this place popped up that I didn't know existed 5 minutes from my house. I was pleasantly surprised with my visit! It seemed like it was run by the whole family which I appreciate as I also own a local family run business in Green! It is definitely more sports oriented which I'm not interested in. But they do have a good selection of Pokemon cards and Kurt told me they're expanding to have a huge Pokemon section on the right side of the store. Everyone there was super nice and welcoming! Prices were fair and based on market price, which makes sense. I'll definitely be back to buy more Pokemon stuff and if they get One Piece booster boxes/cards I'll definitely come here for that as well! They said they offer trade ins and it sounded like they also send cards in to get graded for customers which is dope. 10/10 would come back, very happy with...

I’ve been a collector since I was a small child. I’ve collected every sorts of cards video. Games toys you name it. This shop knows exactly what they are doing. Wonderful atmosphere very clean. Everything is very well. Taken care of. The way I was treated was phenomenal and the way that they multitask between me parents and children was also phenomenal. I’d love to see the shot stay in business for as long as humanly possible. We need more of these kind of shots around. That’s what makes life worth living.
