I have tried the Industry for their brunch menu as well as their dinner menu- absolutely worth a try!
The brunch menu was very tasty, I enjoyed the hand held and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The wild mushrooms on my croissant were insane and I would love to know the secret behind them so I can eat them all the time! The mimosa flight was a nice option to share and enjoy. The dinner menu was also very tasty, with some minor suggestions. I had the Nashville chicken gnocchi which I really enjoyed, my husband had the duck and wished that the skin wasn't so chewy and "blubbery". The meat itself was good, although for the price the portion was small. The Cesar salads, while delicious, have a silly price difference between the whole and half. The plates may be different, but the serving size is just about the same for a $4 price difference. Just get the small! My brother got the potato "paving stones" and while they were very tasty, they definitely needed some kind of sauce because his meal ended up being very dry without it. The tuna tartar was fabulous beyond belief and I would love to have it many more times!! My favorite cocktail was the Lemon Drop martini, it was absolutely sublime and I would love to have it again and again. The pear spritz was also fantastic! The Mud Pudding desert was very good, but truthfully, small and simple for the price and type of restaurant. My mom got the pistachio one, and it was also enjoyable and simple. The service was okay. My first time we had a reservation for 11:15am, and even though most of the party was there by then, the hosts were not particularly kind in telling us they would cancel our reservation if they didn't get there "soon". The restaurant was not full or busy and I was pretty put off by the attitude of the staff when we were so excited to be there for my birthday. The second time we had a reservation as well and it went off without a hitch. I will say, however, that our server was clearly very new to the service industry. All the grace and compassion in the world for her, it's hard to be a server - and I think it's important to know the menu and wine lists for a restaurant of this caliber. When asked for a Pinot Noir, the server asked if we wanted red or white. Several of our questions were met with confusion and a "let me ask". A tiny thing, but something to work on for the future. The aesthetics of the restaurant were very nice and I especially like the way the bathroom is decorated - very moody broody and cool. My only complaint with the building itself is that the floors are INCREDIBLY slippery. If you have heels on, are not steady on your feet, or aren't expecting it, it is potentially dangerous. I had to have my husband help me walk through to our seats because my heels were slipping all over the place.
Overall, I really enjoyed both of my meals here and am looking forward to trying it again in a few months to see if I can't get my socks blown off and change this review to a 5 star. So happy to have a restaurant like this in Green and I hope nothing but long-term success and accolades for them as the years go on!
TLDR: Give this place a try - you...

Dining at The Industry Kitchen & Bar is always a treat (though I rarely make it out because it’s quite a long journey from my hometown in Hawai’i) but my recent visit was elevated into something truly unforgettable. Thanks to the impeccable service of a remarkable waitress named Erin. From the moment she approached our table, she carried herself with a quiet confidence and a warm, genuine smile that instantly made us feel welcome.
Erin possesses that rare blend of professionalism and personality — attentive without being intrusive, engaging without overstepping. She seemed to read the table like a well-worn book, anticipating needs before we even had to ask. Our drinks were refreshed effortlessly, our meals arrived flawlessly timed, and every question about the menu was met with not just an answer, but an informed, enthusiastic recommendation.
What truly set Erin apart was the way she made the experience feel personal. She didn’t simply serve; she curated. Whether it was suggesting the perfect appetizer pairing or sharing a quick, friendly anecdote that left us smiling, she managed to weave small moments of connection into the rhythm of the evening. It’s a rare skill — the ability to make each guest feel like the most important person in the room — and Erin has mastered it. It felt like we had been the best of friends for a lifetime.
The Industry Kitchen & Bar is fortunate to have someone who embodies the very spirit of hospitality. Erin doesn’t just represent the establishment; she elevates it. She is the kind of server who makes you want to return not only for the food and atmosphere, but for the experience of being in her capable, gracious care. Wrapped in professional care, and she carries herself in a beautiful eloquent manner as she completes her tasks. From an outside perspective, this isn’t a job to her, it’s a passion.
If there were a way to rate beyond five stars, Erin would have earned...
Read moreWe attended the grand opening as a date night. For a 7:15 reservation, we weren’t seated till 7:40 or so, which was a bummer, but hey… it was opening night. That just gave us a bit of time to hang in the bar and take in the view, which was incredible. Whoever played parts in designing this place did an amazing job.
Thoughts on four food items and three drinks:
Deviled eggs: Perfect. Best my wife has ever had.
Truffle Parmesan paving stones: Amazing dip. Could have used more crisp on the potatoes, but that’s splitting hairs. They were good.
Cauliflower: My wife is more of a charred cauliflower person; this wasn’t that. But it was tasty and (per her report) tasted good leftover too. I enjoyed picking off of her shishitos, maybe a bit too much.
Nashville Gnochhi: Probably the least impressive thing, though still not by any means disappointing. I think we were just misled by the Nashville branding. Nashville chicken is about the oil, not a sauce. This chicken’s flavoring seemed mostly based on the hot sauce. Would love to see them push the boundaries on this one. (Wife said leftover gnocchi was good.)
The Industry Old Fashioned: Sweeter and a bit lighter than I was expecting, but I didn’t care; VERY pleasant and smooth.
Old Fashioned: I judge a lot of restaurants’ bars based on how well they make a basic old fashioned. The Industry’s bar gets it right. Perfect for my taste. No notes. (Though, weirdly, very different from their signature version.)
Burnt Lemon Drop: Per my wife: “So good. Drinks were incredible.”
Altogether, we’re very excited to have The Industry added to our list of local favorites. Place runs impressively smoothly for being so new, atmosphere is among the best in the area for our taste, and there are many corners of the menu we’re looking forward...
