Latino Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Green

Great menu with some different dishes that are not the same as the other local restaurants choices. I tried a dish that I have never sampled and I enjoyed it. The restaurant was a little worn, I expected it to be more polished in this neighborhood.

(Update) 3rd visit yesterday. I love that they have different menu choices. The service was good. The food looked delicious. It tasted okay, but not nearly as tasty as it looks. I’m not sure if the problem is over seasoning, not cleaning the grill well enough between dishes, or marinating and/or cooking the dish too long, but my dish had several different layers to it, that I expected to create a multi layered flavor delight, but it came out tasting like Taco Stew. Every bite tasted the same. The steak was tender, but it tasted just like the vegetables. I cannot recall the name of my dish and it’s not listed on the web menu. My wife and o both had left overs. We ended up pitching them. She has a bowl that she’d barely eaten. She expressed my same feelings. Her flavors had blended rather than popping. She felt that it may have been over seasoned(salty). The prices are reasonable. I will likely return, but I’m hoping for it to taste better the next trip. Since gratuity seems to no longer be an option in America and this place starts its recommended gratuity at 20%, I am changing the cost per person on this review to...

From my first visit- I thought: DANG that margarita is strong 😅lol… & 2. WOW this place deserves more credit!! It’s better than (the other place that’s been in Green since I was a kid) lol

We love Latino☺️ and have become part of the large group of “regulars”! Join us at the bar😅. I was a regular patron at Ponchos for years…and never met anyone or felt welcomed like you are here.

They have an impressive array of vegetarian options 🙌🏼 as they always have carrots, squash and veggies on hand that other Latin places don’t, and they will accommodate just about anything for you😘 Usually the salsa is #onPoint🤤 so if you happen upon a off-batch…give them a second try. The chips are slightly thicker/crunchier than the rest & we enjoy them more that way. “The coleslaw” & chip is seriously addictive 😳 and no, she won’t share the recipe 😜 Don’t mind the toddler running around at lunch😊 this is a family business Long...

Well, right off the bat, we were never greeted. A woman sitting at a table, came up to us, completely silent, I said "hi, table for two please", she grabbed two menus, put them on a table, and walked away. We had our baby with us, never asked if we needed a high chair or anything. The salsa was terrible, literally looked like vegetable stew. For some reason we got coleslaw with it? Which was also not good. A completely different person took our food order, which they brought out separately. Wife was almost done eating before my food came. I got 3 tacos, that for some reason, couldn't be made into an combo, so I paid more, for less. The steak in the taco was bland, and cold. The pork was ok. The chicken was actually pretty good. Wife got a burrito, that came with rice, and beans, which was all drowned in some sauce. It literally tasted like coney sauce, lol. Nobody ever came back to refill drinks, or ask if everyone was ok.
