We hadn’t been here for 5 years until a couple of weeks ago: we were looking for fresh soy sprouts and this place was the only store carrying them (none of the big chains nor farmer’s markets had them).
I was happy to see that after all these years (including a pandemic) this family business is still running. The aisles are still very narrow, the shelves so packed that they have to add boxes on the floor to display their products, but the store looks now cleaner and organized than years ago.
Here you can find anything you need for your Asian cooking; some products don’t even have a translation on the package and they have a lot of items that I’ve never seen before (and will find out how to use!). They have a wide selection of noodles and rice for any kind of dish, fresh vegetables, frozen products, sauces, teas and so on; and you can also find a few kitchen/non-food items.
The store is located in a strip plaza on a busy road, parking is usually not an issue and the prices are very decent (they will give you a discount if you pay cash).

I had to ask for pricing on a couple of items because they were not marked, the cashier could not be bothered and act kind of irritated for having to answer my questions, then the owner made a insulting remark about me to one of the employee in Cantonese assuming people don't understand him. Really! Guess you are not quiet the "nice old men" you are trying to portray with your fake smile?
