EMI GLOW BRAIDS — Local services in Greenbelt

I was searching for DMV braiders and came across EmiGlow Braids on Instagram. She was very prompt in communication and very polite. I’m usually hesitant to book hair appointments due to rude and unprofessional stylists in the past, so it was a big deal for me to find someone all around GOOD. I took a chance with Emi and so glad that I did!

She was very polite, kind and she DELIVERED! When I say she did exactly what I envisioned for my hair, she did! It’s the exact color, length, style, fullness I wanted for my hair. I let her know that I wanted two colors mixed together, and she executed it beautifully. I made sure to show her an example of what I meant by combining/blending the colors and she was grateful for that. My hair may have taken 5 hours but it didn’t feel like it, so it could’ve been less? I was so relaxed I was falling asleep a few times in her chair. Her assistant was very kind too!

Okay so let me just say babyyyyyy! Ms. Emi is GOLDEN✨💖 She's the sweetest ever! Her work is top tier in fact the other ladies who assist in braiding are just as sweet as her! My experience with Emi was so pleasant. I called her last minute and was able to get an appointment the next day! Her space is super clean and the enviormemt was so peaceful! My hair came out exactly how I wanted it. I got borabora braids waist length, they are very light and easy to put up. Oh and did I mention the curls she uses are REALLY 100% human hair, no matting, little to no shedding. The pricing was so worth it, I definitely got my wear out of the style. I'm quite picky about who I let touch my hair, especially when it comes to braiding it. I found a women's hair salon and saw her work and reviews, which are accurate and live up to the hype. This woman is very remarkable. The music playing in the background shattered my heart, plus her hair salon is really well-decorated, well-organized, and clear 😍. The song was a blend of well-known, current tunes, African music, and classic melodies from the past. She has a lovely apartment in a highly secure neighborhood and is friendly, considerate, and welcome. She sold me a crocheted braid.
