Penny Mustard Distribution & Clearance Center — Local services in Greendale

The clearance center has beautiful, solid-wood furniture. Most of their inventory consists of bedroom sets, but there are steals to be had on other types of furniture as well. Everything is sold "as is" and much of their stock comes from old showroom pieces or furniture with minor imperfections. We recently purchased a maple desk from the clearance center. It has a few minor nicks, but was sold at 40% off retail value making the price tag (just over $1000) much more reasonable than what you would get from a Penny Mustard showroom. The salespeople were very helpful without being pushy. I was pleasantly surprised, when I asked if we could purchase new hardware for the desk, that they offered to change out the hardware for free. We paid $100 to have the furniture delivered. This was well worth the cost, as solid-wood furniture is HEAVY. The delivery men arrived early and put down blankets to protect our floors before moving the desk in. I was very happy with my experience at the clearance center. I definitely recommend the Penny Mustard clearance center to any other bargain...
