Ace Hardware — Local services in Greeneville

AWEFUL staff. Employees don't care to help over the phone. Was on hold for ~30 min today with questions about my chainsaw status and product availability. We were told it would take 1-3 days to fix, I call on day 3 and was told "my chainsaw isn't there" then after telling them that is is there, they would not give an ETA and was rude "it wi be ready when we call you" it is really a 5 min adjustment, I am just not comfortable doing it myself. then later I was asking if a product was there that shows as available online. I talked to one person who said I'll check and never return, they second person said the same thing, then the third person said it's not there. So we went to the store because we were pretty desperate, and low and behold they have like 20 in stock 🤦....

I love going to Ace Hardware. The store is very clean and very orderly every time I go in. Outside the store is noticeably dirt-free and business is maintained as you enter the store. There is such a variety of things that I need there. Mike Collins is the nicest guy ever! He was about to load some bags of soil into the back of my SUV. He immediately saw that my car is beige in color and I didn't have anything to lay across my carpeted area, went in and got something from inside the store to protect my carpet. Sweet! Chivalry right? That is just the kind of nice person he is! I was also helped by 3-4 other employees as well and they too were very helpful and professional and...

I had paint mixed here in no time. The staff is always so kind, pleasant, and always ask if they can help help. This Ace Hardware has a lot of small things that you can't find anywhere else - not just hardware, but kitchen stuff like a pressure cooker seal and many other things for inside and outside the home.

This is a second trip sometime later. I went to this hardware store and got a mower belt and I didn't have to look for an hour. In the far back is the parts manned by a human. He just picked the right belt out of a bunch and it was it! They have special order parts- this is one fantastic...
