I usually choose Target over Walmart, but this isn't the store I typically go to. I happened to be closer to this one yesterday and wanted to pick up a few things that were on sale. I was surprised that they weren't any busier than normal considering it's the weekend after Thanksgiving. I noticed that the products that I wanted were a different price then what their website had them listed as. The cashier said that they cannot price match their own website, but I could order online for pick up in store. I checked with customer service and they said the same. I already had the four items in my cart so I asked if I could leave it so that they don't have to have an employee go get it again. They said yes. Then when I was finished checking out online another person said we couldn't leave it and said instead of the hour they first told me it would take, it would be 3 hours. I understand that it takes time for the computer system to update and show an order has been placed, but it's four items, right in front of their face already pulled and they are asking for more work for themselves and for me to wait three hours. I live an hour and a half away, and just happened to be around but certainly wasn't planning on waiting that long. I had another store to go to so I said fine, and went to check out some products that weren't on sale that I figured I would just get right away instead of waiting. I got to the cash register and one of the things apparently was put on the shelf a day before it was supposed to. She called a manager over, and the manager screamed in my face "you aren't supposed to have this I'm not selling this to you" and took it from me and walked away. Never have I been so insulted and treated so poorly at any store. I am always nice to people, especially this time of year when they deal with rude customers, and to be disrespected like this was absolutely ridiculous. It's not like I went out back, there was a pile of these toys on the shelves. It isn't a new toy, it isn't on sale either. I waited six hours for my ship to store order and finally cancelled it because I had enough. Worst costumer service ever at...
Read moreI think I'm done shopping at this Target location. It is very disorganized and cluttered. I understand staffing shortages but that doesn't justify leaving pallets and other backroom items out on the floor impeding your customers. But the store itself is just not clean. Items from other departments are all over the store, clothes aren't folded and are impossible to look through, and nothing seems to be in the right spots. The time I shopped here previously, I was going to buy a gallon of milk but the fridge smelled so horrible (presumably from old spilled milk) that the container itself smelled. I ended up having to go to another store to get some milk. The final straw for me was my last trip to this Target. I ended up spending more at checkout than I thought I had in my cart due to pricing stickers not being placed correctly near their items. An Easter decoration that had a price tag under it of $4.99 really rang up as $10 and some Charmin toilet paper priced at $8.99 rang up as $13.99. I informed of the workers at the self checkout area of the price discrepancies. She did adjust the prices of a couple of items (she changed the price of some dinner plates I was buying to the sticker price) but she didn't seem to care much when I asked about the decoration and the toilet paper. She scanned it with her price gun and said "well it shows here as $13.99," even though I told her it showed a different price on the shelf. She made no effort to go check the locations to see what problems I was telling her, not to mention there were about 4-5 employees near the front of the store and it was not busy at all. A couple minutes to check could've saved them a future customer. I've worked in retail before and I always adjusted the price to what the sticker said, because it's not the customer's fault your store isn't organized. Overall, I'm done shopping at this Target location. I'd rather go to the Walmart in Epping which is just as close and, surprisingly, much much cleaner. I've always liked Target, but this store...
Read moreThe Greenland NH store keeps getting worse and worse. First, there was not one single cart in the store and you couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get one(I would have gone outside to the cart storage area in the parking lot but I am physically disabled and walk with a cane so I couldn’t). I had to wait for another customer to leave their cart on their way out. There are a lot of items out of stock or put in the wrong place(and pallets everywhere blocking aisles). Long lines at checkout with only 2 registers open. Self checkout had a lane down so there were only 3 self checkouts working. They don’t tell you that you can’t use cash at self checkout (only find out once you have scanned your item and try to pay) so back to waiting in the 2 long lines that have actual cashiers.
The staff is less than helpful saying they can’t or don’t know how to do things that they have done before at that store and try and tell you they never could do that(that their system doesn’t have a way to do it even though they have done it in past there so they are either lying or incompetent). Some of the employees are just plain rude (their tone and how they referred to me when speaking with another employee) when you speak to them or ask them something. They act like you are wasting their time. I ended up just leaving my items and cart at checkout without buying anything because they were giving me trouble and attitude at checkout when I tried to pay.
I like Target, but the Greenland NH one is going way downhill and I don’t have another one close to where I live. I may have to stick to Walmart from now on. Target’s prices are too high anyways so I might as well save myself the time, money and aggravation and...
