Do not have a party at this establishment and save yourself the disappointment. The girl who scheduled my party (Jenn) had a bit of an attitude. She scheduled my party after convincing me to do a specific day since they weren't available for parties the day I preferred. I showed up ath the time of my party and they didn't even have it set up. I waited almost 40 minutes for them to set up. They told me that Jenn did not request a host for it. Once I we got down to our lanes we were only checked on 1x by management. I was searching for balls which they don't have appropriate balls for smaller children. I found 1 ball that was a 6 all of the rest were 7. I didn't get to enjoy my kids party because I had to keep checking in with them for different situations. They never told us any guidelines. So I went off of what I saw online for party inclusion. At the end of the night I asked about bumper cars and they started telling me I couldn't get that because they had tournament gear in there. Then proceeded to tell me the kids also couldn't use the arcade because it was down. Somehow when you get 4 pizzas and have 14 kids you only get one pitcher of a drink (current management gave me 2 more without charge) . No one came down at the end of the party let alone any other time to help alus move along but now I know why. On top of that they didn't even let the birthday kids spin the wheel they list as a perk. They could have told us to at least bowl longer but I guess they didn't want to be bothered. Manager Jazz did make some accommodations to my bill at the end but I'm so disappointed in the service we received. I called to speak to the general manager and they couldn't even be bothered to call me back so here I am warning all to stay away from triad lanes for birthday parties...
Read moreIF YOU VALUE YOUR BOWLING BALL DO NOT EVER GO TO THE TRIAD LANES BOWLING CENTER. Apparently if your ball gets stuck in the pin catcher it will mysteriously disappear into nowhere land and they will accuse you or someone else of stealing your ball. The management as well as the owner could care less and they have plenty of excuses to go around. However they were kind enough (speaking sarcastically) to offer a $20 off a new bowling ball to be purchased at their pro shop. Is this a joke or a scam? Whether the ball is a low end or a high end ball, $20 discount is a joke if it is customized to fit only you with finger tip inserts. This bowling center is garbage to begin with so please don't try to save money by going to Triad Lanes in Greensboro. Instead, go to any other bowling center in the area such as Spare Time Bowling Center or AMF All Start Lanes if your in Greensboro, NC or High Point Bowling Center in High Point, NC. What an unbelievable experience my friend and his family had.
This bothers me because the bowling ball that mysteriously disappeared was from a recent bowling league that I managed. The league was at Spare Time Bowling Center where you get a bowling ball customized to your liking at the end of the league. George is great friend and coworker of mine that would not lie, cheat or steal just to get a new bowling ball. The humiliation alone of being treated the way he was in front of his family is unacceptable. My family and friends will never go to Triad Lanes for any reason ever again! I asked that anyone in the Greensboro area that goes to Triad Lanes to join our cause to never go back to bowl there again. There are plenty of other bowling centers in the Triad area to bowl...
Read moreWe have had a terrible experience trying to even come to bowl. We called once and were told there were plenty of lanes, come on. We got there 30 min later and were told there were no lanes available. Looking around half the lanes were not in use, when we asked, the lady said a tournament was starting in 2 hours so the lanes were reserved. We asked about making a reservation for the next day and we told we couldn’t make it the day before. We called the next morning to reserve a lane and were told we had to call 24 hours ahead. Which we tried. We tried again the next weekend, 48 ahead and were told to call back the next day. We did and were told they had no reservations, to just come in and get a lane. We tried, nothing. Three weeks later we tried to reserve a lane for a weekday only to be told there was nothing unless we wanted midnight bowling we could do first come first serve. We tried again for this weekend. I called Friday to reserve for Saturday. I was told Saturday’s are no reservations and everything is first come first serve. I asked the best time to come and was told to come in the morning. We loaded up our family to get there within an hour of opening, arrived and we’re told no open lanes, again over half the place was not in use. We were told a tournament was going on today so those lanes were saved. Wouldn’t you know the evening before if a tournament was happening in the morning? We will not attempt coming again and had to explain to our kids why we couldn’t go bowling…again, when they can clearly see plenty of spaces to bowl. Don’t waste your time unless you’re in a...
