Food Lion — Local services in Greenville

I’ve been coming to this Food Lion for years & have always been fairly ok with it, nothing spectacular but ok…today I went to the bakery to order a sheet cake,& waited & waited for someone to acknowledge I was even standing there…finally a young man came over, I told him I needed a sheet cake for Saturday afternoon ( today was Thursday)…he was very arrogant & told me they didn’t have enough time (he thought today was Friday)…I corrected him & told him I’ve never had a problem getting cakes before with 24 hrs notice, much less over 48 hrs! …he said they couldn’t do it so I left after letting some employees know what had happened…his attitude was obnoxious…I called another grocery store & they were so accommodating & had no problem with my simple request…I never intend to go back to this Food Lion…if they can t bake a simple cake in 48 hrs, it’s nothing but pure laziness….and I know it’s hard to get employees these days, but this guy shouldn’t be working...

This woman named jas has terrible customer service she does not deserve a job facing people there was no type of greeting from anyone in the store just constant chatter about everything but work , complete attitude and during my transaction she goes food lion needs to stop this we are not a bank !! That’s the only words she spoke and it was negative . She needs training or new employment she applied for the job that offers that service that she wants to stop so she needs to quit or be fired the job doesn’t fit. I’ve only seen one rude teenager I’d rather see rude kids than adults they should know better leave this job to people learning not people taking space and being rude get a better job maybe you’ll be happier ; The manager at this location is Trina leavy and at first I thought the employees weren’t trained but they are obviously trained by hero can’t see them leaving this job and securing another one this is a...

HELLO EVERYONE...I VISITED THE FOOD LION NEAR THE AIRPORT AND PEADON'S GRILL IN GREENVILLE NORTH CAROLINA TODAY...AND LET ME TELL YOU...FOR ME IT WAS AN HONOR TO SHOP THERE THIS MORNING...WHY?...BECAUSE THIS PARTICULAR FOOD LION HAS SOME OF THE NICEST STAFF THAT YOU COULD EVER WANT TO MEET......I HAD JUST BEEN RELEASED FROM A CERTAIN PART OF VIDANT MEDICAL CENTER... AND I NEEDED HELP IN GETTING A FEW CASES OF WATER TO MY CAR...AND THIS FEMALE EMPLOYEE WAS SO VERY KIND AND DIDN'T HESITATE TO OFFER HER ASSISTANCE TO ME...THAT REALLY TOUCHED MY HEART....I WISH I COULD HAVE THOUGHT TO GET HER NAME BUT...IT SLIPPED MY MIND...SO WHOEVER THIS EMPLOYEE IS....I SEND A VERY "HEARTY THANKYOU" FOR BEING SO KIND AND HELPFUL...AND "SPECIAL THANKS TO MANAGEMENT FOR TRAINING AND HIRING THE VERY BEST OF...
