It is an excellent run community involved center. There’s walking past next-door. There’s all kind of classes some free and some small payment required. They do meals on wheels. They have daytime activity for a group of people that come there. they’re also a good resource for senior needs, including safety and railings and ramps and things like that. If they don’t do it, they can point you to where you can find out. 9-4-2024 A lifetime level experience listening to the 4 Seasons Chamber Trio with fellow seniors. All three musicians were enjoying themselves and letting the audience in on their fun with short discussions about the movements played.

About three months ago, I had my once a year phone call, from a health nurse. She asked me a lot of questions, one of which was have I fallen recently. I said yes, one fall really concerned her, because I fell in the bathtub. She told me that the Council on Aging could help me get grab bars. After first playing phone tag, when I was finally able to speak to someone I was told that yes I could get the grab bars. Now after WEEKS of leaving messages and not hearing back. I called today July 11th 2024, and got a call back, only to be told that NOW I can no longer get the grab bars I need because the fiscal year end June 30th, and the new year doesn't allow for grab bars. Funny when I could get the grab bars NO one returned my calls, now I get a call back the same day saying I am out of luck. The fiscal year just ran...

I am a participant of this facility, and I love going there every day. I have a wonderful time with all the staff and clients that are in the whole place. They have a wonderful program called Meals on Wheels. That program helps feed the people who are in the center, and the ones who are shut -ins. Our Executive director Rich Zeck is one of the best people who has came in and really done some wonderful and neat changes in the center. We just love Him and everyone, and all the wonderful things that go on at the Council On Aging. To God be...
