ALDI — Local services in Greenwood

I don’t know if it is a staffing issue. I don’t know what the problem is. I keep going there because it is convenient on my drive home, been there probably 40 times, think there’s been an issue 35 of those times. Today it was, 2 registers open, Ive been standing in line at 1, cashier from 3 comes over, puts a closed sign right in front of me on the conveyor and tells me to go to 3 if I am ready. I look over at 3, 2 groups, each with a stuffed cart, pull in there, now I get to stand in line all over again. Who does that? There are 2 younger guys that work there. One is a really nice guy. The other gets rather confrontational to (it appears to me) anyone who comes in there in dirty work clothes. Surprised there hasn’t been a fight yet. It’s a weird store. I haven't been in an Aldi since 2013 and I must say that I am very impressed with how far they've come. I keep hearing that they're getting more organic and preparing to take on Whole Foods, so I figured it was time to check them out again. The new design and layout is really nice. It feels more like a real grocery store instead of some discount store. The selection was nice, and they had lots of different things to offer. We even found some deals that were just too good to pass up. Although I was not able to get everything on my list at Aldi, I got pretty much everything but like 10 items. Being a Sunday afternoon there were several other people shopping. They only had 2 check outs open at the time, and though the line was long, we got through it pretty quick. I'd say that I may become a more frequent customer...

Never felt so unwanted in a store in my life. I started coming to this Aldi because my son works in this area and the first time I felt that way I said maybe I'm thinking to hard but this second time has confirmed my feelings, if you would prefer people of a different ethnicity not come to your store I would prefer you place a sign. They greeted the other customers, spoke when spoken to but even the second time I could not get anyone to acknowledge my questions as to were something was located, the cashier throws money back at you and your food into the cart. I dont know how bad the world is getting but one thing should never change respect for your Christian brother and sister we all have the same Father....
