We came in around 7pm to dine in, my husband and I. There were tiny children sitting at the bar watching cartoons, more children in a couple booths, more children out on the patio area screaming, random children everywhere without supervision. I’m not sure what was happening with that…we had to order at the counter, I’m sure bc of them being short staffed. We ordered cheesesticks, marinara and cheese sauce, a pepperoni Detroit style pizza, and two drinks. We waited for about 45 minutes for our food. Our pizza came out and the lady said that the cheesesticks would be a few minutes because they messed up (I asked for no sprinkle stuff on them, just cheese). She came back about 3 minutes later with cheesesticks but they had stuff sprinkled on them, I said it was fine, I didn’t care at this point. There wasn’t any sauce, she said she would be right back with them. The sauce on the pizza tasted like the sauce they use for their meat pastas or something, it was not good. My husband is not picky and he wouldn’t even eat it. I went up to get our sauces to which I was told that they were out and they would have to make more and they didn’t know how long that would be. I said forget it and we grabbed our drinks and left. A waste of time and money, every time we try to eat there…I have worked in fast food and at a Pizza Hut before so I understand being busy…the lady at the counter did the best she could trying to take orders at the counter and wait on the people dining in. How is it that the people in the kitchen don’t notice that they are out of sauce? And why wouldn’t you tell people ordering it and PAYING for it, that you don’t have any?! It’s frustrating. This isn’t the first time that we have had major issues with this location, but it will be our last. I’m tired of wasting money and time, and still...
Read moreWhen I pulled up to the store, I hit the button on my Pizza Hut app that told the store I was there. I did curbside delivery because I had my 2 year old with me. One of the employees was outside talking to a woman that worked next door at the smoke shop. The employee then went inside and got their purse/wallet and went inside the smoke shop. They were in there for about 10 mins. All this time, people are piling up inside the store. My app had told me my pizza was ready for over 10 mins. When then employee came out of the smoke shop, they had 2 full bags of items from there. This entire time, I am calling the store endlessly with no answer. The employees cleared out the store of customers but I was still in my car waiting for my curbside delivery. I called the store one more time but still no answer. I then woke my toddler up so that I could take them in the store with me to get my pizza. I was very displeased with having to wait over 20 mins outside the store for curbside delivery with a 2 year old in the car. I did curbside for a reason but still had to go in to get it after waiting for almost half and hour. All while one of the employees talks to a person at a store next door and then goes inside of the store to buy stuff when customers are waiting on them for their food. When I got home, my pizza tasted like it had been warming too long and was dry and hard. Worst pizza I’ve ever had at Pizza Hut. The service at the store on 1022 US 31 in Greenwood, IN...
Read moreHaving worked at a Pizza Hut for about a year, I know the signs of a bad location pretty well. I placed my order at about 6 pm and was given an estimated 30 minute delivery time. I live, literally 5 minutes away. Why I didn't do carry out is my regret to live with. Regardless of not picking it up myself, I still don't deserve to wait an hour for a delivery. On top of the long wait, the food is, for lack of a better word, crap. Whoever packed the drivers bag decided it was a good idea to put a box of brownies, as well as a big tub of 18 wings on top of my breadsticks, which were of course, smashed into pancakes. From the grease stains on the bag of sticks and pizza boxes, along with the almost cold soggy dough texture, it was clear my order sat in the warmer for quite a long while. As for the wings, they look horrible, they barely had any sauce and they just sucked. One of the things I remember from my time working at anogher location was how, when properly cooked, the wings are actually really good. I'm going to have to bake these and add my own sauce to make them even edible. With the abundance of really good pizza places (Like Jockamos) in the area, I will never order this overpriced slop again. If this location is a franchise, whoever owns it needs to find some employees that actually care. If it's a Yum brand owned store..... Well, that corporation is horrible so there is no hope.
TLDR - location sucks, don't...
