Okay where do I start?
Overall, the experience is decent. They have only 4 theater screens which makes sense because Grenada is a small town. Two out of the 4 are the smallest, with a long narrow room with a screen at the end. There is only one walkway with I think 3 or 4 rows of seats on either side down the length of the theater. These two are probably where most of the complaints come from. There are two really decent quality theaters that are about the normal size of any normal theater you go into with one being capable of playing 3D movies. They usually play the newest movies that release, or the ones with the better ratings on those two theaters.
The seats are hit or miss. Sometimes you may get a really crappy seat that you have to support most of your weight down on your legs to keep from sliding out. Others are just fine and the seats are for the most part comfortable. They allow some flexibility to recline back a bit to make it more comfortable.
I am used to going to a theater where you could pay upwards to 10 dollars just for a large bucket of popcorn. Here, I bought me and my dad a large drink and popcorn each for 10 dollars. Yeah, I get that the sizes are actually considered medium in other theaters, but food is food and you don't go to a theater to eat food. You go to watch a movie and maybe have something to snack on. Same with the large drinks. The cups are probably considered medium everywhere else, but I haven't had a problem with it. I pay a cheaper price for the food and enjoy the movie. Then I still have money to go eat out somewhere when I am done. I give it a 3 star because it is a decent, solid movie theater with just a few mishaps and hit or misses. Other than that, just enjoy the movie you want to watch. The sound and screens I've seen have been good so far.
If you're just passing through, I'd say you may be better off waiting until you get to the next town. But if you have to stay a weekend or what not, then it's really no major inconvenience especially if you're looking for something to do while...
Read moreReally small theater and town. Very lively Friday night. Like literally no space when you walk into theater. The popcorn learn can block the movie doors. The people there are nice, and everyone is there for a good time. The seats takes away a little bit from the movie going experience. A kid had to move seats because he couldn't see behind me haha. The family was funny, and the father switched spots with his son. I didn't go in with any expectations. I just wanted to see Captain Marvel. Overall these are my observations, and I enjoyed myself. I give it four stars for the theater being somewhat clean. I thought about comparing to tinseltown in pearl or the grand malco theater in Madison, but all these towns are a bit different in size. Yes, Grenada could use a much larger theater. Thanks...
Read moreThe seats are terrible!!! I couldnt even enjoy the movie because my tale kept hurting and i had to keep moving around cause my tale would get numb. And if someone sits in front of u you cant even see the screen! As much business as they get i dont know why they havent upgraded it yet. But other than that eveything is fine, i just wish they would upgrade the seats its terrible. And also i would like to mention the security man in there is grwat! If there are kids in there that think they are gone cut up and be loud and interrupt u from watching the movie, think again cause he put them out! He dont play, if u have any problem u go tell him and he will fix it. But over all i take my family when we there is a new movie out but just wish they would upgrade the seating its very...
