Mattress Depot — Local services in Gulf Shores

Own a rental condo in orange beach. Needed to replace a broken bed frame before the next guests arrived. Told the sales rep all of that over the phone and made sure that they could deliver, assemble the new and dispose of old one since I was not local to do it myself. They said no problem. I called back to ensure it was done and old one was disposed of, they said yes it was taken care of. My guests arrived to clean sheets taken off the bed and thrown on the floor, the broken bed frame still assembled and the new bed frame still in the box against the wall (see picture). I called mattress depot and they told me if the bad frame is attached to a headboard they can’t touch it. Fine, I understand your policies but someone could have called and told me that. I spoke to your employees multiple times who never mentioned it being attached to a headboard to be a problem and who assured me the job was done and it wasn’t. I had to pay $250 for my guests to go sleep elsewhere on top of all that I had to pay someone else to go fix what mattress depot told me they could do and told me they did do. Moral of the story-don’t count on mattress depot to do what they say unless you can inspect...

My husband and I shopped for a new bed yesterday at Mattress Depot in Gulf Shores, AL. From sales to BEFORE NOON delivery today, the customer service was top notch! The owner & his wife were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with our choices and budget. Danny and Ray delivered our product today, set it up, instructed us about the adjustable base, answered all questions politely and were super efficient! They positioned our new bed perfectly and were very patient. They went the extra mile to move one mattress and remove an older one! Excellent experience. First rate service. Provided information on the products, both pros and cons, for our intended use in our rental unit. No pressure. None of that pressured sales talk about sales and time running out, or limited inventory. Just casual conversation with the owner, Mr Jameson.
