Vintage Flamingo — Local services in Gulfport

Before the owner tries to come for me in the response section like they have on all the other negative comments, NO, i did not come today, I just had time to leave a review today. So try something else. This place is extremely overpriced. I hate to throw out the race card also but if you are black do not even think about coming in here. The vibe that my family and I got the whole time while i was in there was just “get out” vibes. I was not greeted when i came in like everyone else was behind us, i felt like i was being watched, yet no one offered me any assistance. They just looked at me out the corner of their eye. It’s honestly sad because i had a lot of money to spend, but i will not do business anywhere that cannot even greet me or that stares at me and doesn’t say anything. I darted out of there as fast as i could. In conclusion, they have nice things, but they’re overpriced why do you think they don’t put any of their prices on Facebook? I THOUGHT THIS PLACE WAS A GOOD STOP, BUT IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. YES THE MERCHANDISE WAS NICE, BUT THERE WAS A GUY WHO WORKED THERE WHO FLAT OUT LIED TO MY FACE. I WAS THERE WITH MY GUY FRIEND AND HE PICKED UP A BUTTER DISH HE LIKED, BUT HE SAID i'LL WAIT ON IT. WE SEPARATED AND WHEN I CHECKED OUT, IASKED IF MY FRIEND BOUGHT THE BUTTER DISH? THE GUY SAID NO, BUT IF HE DID I DIDN'T SEE HIM. SO I BOUGHT ONE FOR HIM AS A SURPRISE (THEY HAD A FEW THERE), WHEN i GOT OUTSIDE I SAW HE HAD A BAG AND ASKED, WHAT DID YOU BUY, HE SAID THAT BUTTER DISH. i WENT BACK IN WITH MY FRIEND TO RETURN IT, BECAUSE THE GUY I SPOKE TO WAS INDEED THE SAME GUY WHO SOLD IT TO MY FRIEND NOT 5 MINS BEFORE I CHECKED OUT. Loved this place! You wouldn't expect it from the outside of the building, but when you walk in, Vintage Flamingo is filled with gorgeous antique displays comprised of themed rooms showing off the antiques in a very visual way. Antiques are thoughtfully decorated around the section of booths to show them in a light where people can admire their beauty and understand their functionality. My mother-in-law wanted to take my wife and I here, and I'm glad she did. We had a lot of fun walking around viewing the collections here. ...
