Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Guntersville

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Spent all that time shopping, then they rang all the groceries up, waited until I swiped my card and it wouldn't work to tell me that their card thing wasn't working. And the girl saw the card in my hand and didn't say a word, and there wasn't any sign anywhere letting customers know it wasn't working. Had to leave over $200 worth of groceries in a cart because I had no way to pay for it since there was nothing letting shoppers know they couldn't take any cards. It would have been alot less upsetting if they would have just said something about it. Very unprofessional. We weren't the only ones having to leave carts full of groceries. Definitely...

The hot part of the deli is supposed to close at 6:00 p.m. About five times now I have went in there at 4 :30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. and employees had already closed the deli down. I've only lived in Guntersville for two months. That's several times within two months. I went in there today at 4:55 and there was nothing on the hot bar. That means the guy had to start breaking it down at 4:30. If you're not going to stay open till 6:00 p.m. change your hours of operation. If you're not going to stay open until 6:00 p.m. then when a customer calls up there and asks when does the hot bar close you need to tell them we close it when we feel like it because that's what they do...

This is a great place to shop I'll go here often to buy groceries at a great price for this area. They have great produce and meat selections. I go here to get fresh cut sandwich meat and cheese. They have good prices on there Meats that I have sliced in the deli. They have great prices on the refresh Fried Chicken. If you have an organization that needs chicken prepared for a special occasion call in advance and place an order. Churches that have dinner order in advance and pick it up on the day of service the chicken is...
