Guntersville Parks & Recreation Center — Attraction in Guntersville

Guntersville recreation pool has some serious issues. Womens restrooms and dressing room seriously need cleaning. It smells strongly of URINE. Safety issues as well. Staff n lifequards are letting people run and jump into pool . Plus these kids jumping over individuals in the pool. So not safe. When addressing staff they say they will take care of issue but don't. There are a certain group of teens who terrorize the other swimmers then claim your the problem. These teens are bullys.These teens are regulars on night swims. I am wondering who they are friends with on the staff. Rules should be enforced as safety is always a concern. I would not recommend this place till issues...

Great little park! I'm looking at a whole bunch of benches and picnic tables where you and a group could eat while you're here, or maybe just sit and relax, enjoying the lake and fresh air. You could also put in a nice little aerobic by running, walking, or cycling the paved trail. I've been here a few times, both during the week and over the weekend, and it's never too busy. Lifeguards are jerks up there they have a lap pool but no ones allowed to use the lap pool apparently u have to swim faster than all the others and be over the age 59 the female lifeguard don’t do anything other than to flirt with male lifeguard and acts rude to everyone the lifeguards enforce rules thats not even written in the rulebook they allow people to get bullied there you can never even talk to them they are to dang mean i saw one cuss a...
