Long Radio — Local services in Hadley

I build systems as a hobby.. I have since highschool. I'm no pro.. i had an issue with my newest build and didn't have time to trouble shoot it.. I stopped in to see if they would do it for me...

Their tone was nice but their were pretensions undertones while going over the system... He said he would have to rewire everything I did in order to fix the issue...

I'm not a car sterio guy or an electrician , a hobbyist, and even I can troubleshoot issues with an electrometer, and deducing what is and isn't working.. it was shocking to me they didn't possess this ability... They were going to charge me 120 an hour - witch seems fair.... I went home and in 30 minutes I figured out that the last owner of the car had wired the remote start incorrectly ... I didn't have to re-run any wires to figure this out...

I could not imagine what I might have paid if we went with their plan of " well first we will reinstall all the wires " they estimated possibly a day ($960 dollars labor) (they said half day- two days)

Do they not know how to use a voltmeter or an electrometer to troubleshoot issues? Only capable of following diagrams ?

There were other red flags too... I may try long radio Springfield if I ever have a caviot like this again.

Long Radio of Hadley was exceptional in installing Heated Seats and a Remote Starter in my New 2022 Tacoma. Very Professional Job done. Seats work perfect and they did pick the best spot to mount the heated seats switches. Remote Starter works from long range and thru buildings too. Very Happy with Long Radio.
