The Lodge — Local services in Hanahan

The space itself is beautiful. It offers a place to escape to if you would like to enjoy something else beside your room. There's games downstairs and a chess board upstairs. It feels homey. I had to take away two stars for our ordered ham and cheese sandwich. It was terrible! The salad welted , partially black and shriveled. The sandwich was stored in a plastic container and was already wet and soggy. It was supposed to come on sourdough bread, but it was a toast with caraway seeds. The ham was dried up and partially grey (yuck!!!) There was no sauce on the sandwich, and it was very clear that it was NOT fresh made. I would NOT recommend to get a sandwich there. It was just disgusting...
