Kimberly, the property manager, does not take your high priority emails seriously. She says she will get back to you "right away" but as you can see, even with an email labeled as high importance, it took her 4 days (including the 9th), to finally get back to me regarding my federal mail. This mail has now been shipped back to NE & cost me over $200 to ship to begin with. Her negligence, lack of care, & delays just cost me another $400+ because I will need to RE-ship it back AND now I get to contact my previous home address and/or the UPS store, after already doing so here. Plus, the MULTIPLE phone calls, emails, & trips over to Argent Cottages (which is 17 minutes away from my new home now) to never even receive ANY of my mail EXCEPT for my new DEBIT card that was just sitting on the front porch for anyone to take. Wow!
Talk about distress, wasted time, money, GAS, endless phone calls, time on hold with the UPS stores, & STRESS, plus time I DO NOT have after a cross country move!!
Any offer of compensation? Or even an apology for this one? After over 5k now of errors, delays, problems, loss of property, etc? NOPE!
I'm only ignored. It's literally criminal. It's called emotional distress, pain & suffering, mental anguish, etc.
It has affected my everyday life, mental health, physical health with stress & BP, my overall well being, mood & happiness, severe panic/panic attacks from extreme financial losses, severe diagnosed depression has plummeted from huge hit after another after another after another with ZERO compensation, extreme high anxiety while driving when I wasn't even TOLD or informed yet that my movers could at LEAST store my ENTIRE household of property at my new rental, or not. In fact, I wasn't even called back on such a precedence type of issue. It was simply... ignored. š¤¬
I was left "ghosted" with no answers from management & promised a phone call from Kimberly's boss to answer that exact question & I told her time was LITERALLY MONEY, as my movers WILL upcharge me for delays & re-delivery fees, as well as last minute changes like storage fees, a new address, etc.
She didn't even have the RESPECT, or COMMON COURTNEY to call me BACK while I was DRIVING on the highway & trying to figure out my next step for ALL of my belongings, plus decide if I needed a storage unit, or not.
Because she told me SO late, she cost me & my movers WASTED time, money, & diesel fuel. She delayed other people's deliveries & cost me yet ANOTHER upcharge fee, as this has been my LAST MINUTE SECOND delay. She left me HOMELESS & called it an "inconvenience".
She has been a coward since & refuses to answer any of my calls and/or emails. She & her company have ONLY compensated my deposit, as I HAD to find a new place to live in less than 24 hours, after finding a storage unit in 1.5 hours last minute for my movers that cost me over $500, just so they could be delayed anyway, so a WASTE of money, but I HAD to because if they showed up with ALL of my stuff, I had NO home & would have had NOWHERE to put it. (She NEVER did tell me ANYTHING about storing my property at Argent, nor did I EVER receive a phone call from her boss, like she "claimed" I would on such an expensive, life altering, serious, & extremely detrimental matter!) What a JOKE!!
This also cost me additional unexpected hotel fees as well, PLUS well over $500 now in replacing items I desperately need to live off of, as it's been a week, & my movers have YET to deliver my belongings due to 2 last minute delays from NE to SC.
I also had to start my BRAND new job 1 week late & it cost me over $1,700 in missed wages & could have potentially cost me my job. Because I had not started that job yet & quit my other job because I was literally MOVING the FIRST time she told me about a move in date delay for a week, I had no PTO to use. None! I was just out an entire week of missed wages. Once again, all I got was, "Sorry for the inconvenience." And, "Delays happen sometimes."
This has been the worst moving experience of my LIFE!!

I was denied and was never given a refund. Since then I have called so many times to ask about my refund I was promised. I keep being told that it was probably lost in the mail but that they will send it again. Still have never received anything in the mail from them. Instead, on November 22nd I received a letter stating that I owe $190 to the Argent Cottages & that it would be sent to collections. I called them & asked why this would be happening since iāve already paid them $190 & they were supposed to be refunding me $125. All I was told was that they donāt know why that happened & blamed it on ānew managementā. The guy I spoke with (Richard) told me he would talk to his manager & they would call me back. They never called me, texted or emailed. I had to call them once again to get answers. The manager Danielle told me the same excuses. This has been going on since September. Itās now December & nothing has changed. They sent the $190 THAT I ALREADY PAID to collections. This is affecting my credit & they do not care at all!!! I have gotten no answers for months just lies & excuses. This place is a scam & they only care about...

You canāt get a hold of a live agent through phone, no responses to emails if they do respond itās general information with avoidance to anything you ask. The biggest red flag is that due to the buildings being new they arenāt doing tours unless you already have a lease application submitted and signed. So in order to even get any information or rent one you have to pay money and already have your name on one which can result in an even larger problem if the unit ends up being horrible.
